FTP for MP3s

Mmm, Rene do you have the knowledge/skills/space and or time to set up some kind of FTP server to download and upload rare T? stuff?
(I mean bootlegs and Bsides only).
Is it on your list of things-to-do?
If not, we might open a couple of I-drives…

Well, the package has some common sense rules, and one of them is that it is not allowed to have too much downloading in relation to serving normal web pages. I don’t really want to get in trouble with that, because I think it’s a good provider, and I would like to stay there. Other than that, if there’s a lot more downloading than there is already I think it will have a large effect on the performance of the rest of the site, and that’s not worth it I think.

I am planning on changing the mp3’s you can download on my site more oftne though, and maybe make it possible to request which songs you’d like to download.

I will think of a way we can make a large mp3 archive, and although it’s nog high on my to-do-list, it is definitly on my future-wish-list.
