Meat Abstract?? Silly comment mr X!

‘I don’t think they’ll ever play Meat Abstract again since the vocals were by Fyfe.’ That’s a pretty silly thing to say, right? What about Teethgrinder, man??? That one was always sung by Fyfe in the old days, compared to Meat Abstract which was sometimes sung by Andy even with Fyfe still in the band. Same goes for Disgracelands, Skyward and…Totally Random Man. So when you say they’ll never play Meat Abstract again because of that, they’ll also never gonna play your favorite song again, my friend!!

They did play it in Dublin ?
If somebody on this board was there, I really would like to know how Graham’s drumming was on that song ???

I have it somewhere on video where Fyfe was drumming and singing Meat Abstract, oh boy, I love it ! Pure quality !

I have Graham’s version of Meat Abstract from Dublin
on tape and it’s pretty close to Fyfe’s - far better
than his version of Teethgrinder anyway!By the way, Andy
never sang the verses when Fyfe was in the band, he just
helped on the chorus; ‘Hate, Freedom’ etc…

Funny thing that you said that you liked my criticism in the old days and now the first one ‘to be critisized’ is you. Don’t mean it that way, y’know that?

Don’t worry … I like these conversations much more then the ‘T? are the best’-posts … I knew that about those songs, but as they were performed that much without Fyfe … no problemo dude …

Nope, Fyfe did - I have the recording. Although, Andy (as always) did backing vocals

Yeah Fyfe sang both those tunes during the encores at the ‘95 Belfast gig.

Also, at the 2000 Belfast gig, the guys ended on a meddly ofPotato Junky, Nausea, I wanna Be your Dog (Iggy Pop) and Meat Abstract. It was quite good; even the drumming.
