Title: T? Cork

Hope its not only the regulars they let in this time, T? should have chosen another venue after that mess last time!

Title: Cork - Locals

I know it was sold out well in advance, but when they got wind we were travelling from Dublin that was the deathknell - regulars only! This was just after it was first advertised on the site, some 3-4 months before the actual gig.

Not wanting to start a fight, but…

This site was the first to know about the gig…and it wasn’t advertised until after pre-sales had been done to all the Wombles on the site and a few people in the know in Cork.

Ask people on this forum like Distorted, etc and they’ll tell you the same.

I purposely tried to sell the tickets to the hardcore fans first, as i knew they would be disappointed otherwise.

I have to take the Avenue’s side on this… we knew about the gig on the message board way before it was advertised. We all had plenty of time to sort shit out… The Avenue also helped me out when my ticket went missing due to my gobshite mate… overall, I thought the Avenue helped the board out… and it was a great gig!

The only downside about the Avenue last time was that tickets have to be purchased in adavance at the door, and not in advance by phone. I don’t mind travelling home from London for the gig, but it is a pain in the arse travelling home just to buy a ticket…

Avenue - can we book by phone this time!?

Yeah!!! Cyprus Avenue were excellent the last time.

They let everyone here on WOM know that T? were playing there well before advertising anywhere else.

My only gripe this time is making it back on a Thursday night for the show.

What time did T? take the stage last time? Any1 remember?

They went on at 10.30 or so.

There may be a second support for this gig so stage times may change

Argh, I planned a couple of days in Dublin aroud the dublin gig.
Now I have to reschedule. if I had known this gig from the beginning I would probably have skipped the Dublin trip.
Last time in cyprus was excellent.

My guess is they were concerned about not selling out the Dublin gig (1200 capacity Ambassador) if they had a couple of extra shows down the country?
