I voted for troublegum, but by no means was it an easy choice between it and Infernal Love.

that’s really difficult - much more difficult than the spitfire or ARK21-albums..

mmmm… troublegum or infernal love?

mmmm… i’d go for infernal love then, just because i got to know therapy? thanx to stories, and just because i got my first 2 therapy?-albums in 1995..

It is a difficult choice cause both albums are great but in the end I’ll choose troublegum. Troublegum is louder!!!!!

no mention of the a&m re issues of babyteeth and pleasure death (caucasian psychosis) that would have been a strong contender

I don’t think it was A&M that released ‘caucasian psychosis’. It was Touch & Go or Quarterstick I think.

Very tricky indeed…

I went for Nurse; Troublegum is more pop than the others, and I could do without the quiet ambience in Infernal Love, not that I don’t love both of those. As for semi-detatched… well, I dunno, I just like Nurse beter.

This wasn’t difficult and I’ve got two, and out of those two, Semi-Detacthed is the one, with the other one being Troublegum.

Its probably their must underated album that didn’t get the attention it deserved like the previous two. Had it been released a year earlier, perhaps things might have been different.

The fact that A&M crashed after the album’s release didn’t help matters much and with nu - metal coming, Therapy? were written off.

But bollocks. Church of Noise, the opening track and first single (No.29, if I remember rightly) sounds like it could’ve have been on Troublegum, and its closing track, The Boy’s Asleep, is just haunting.

By the way, on its release, my copy was stamped with the Gemil face and release date - WHAT A COLLECTORS ITEM!
