I’d probably go for Unbeliever too. I think songs like ‘Our Love Must Die’ are a bit too tongue in cheek to be “depressing”, but i can see how it might mean something to someone on a personal level

I think ‘Dead’ is more angry than depressing… and Andy’s story behind the song kinda confirms this. I geuss it’s pretty sad, too though…

Gone

Takes me back to some very traumatic memories that happened that year and cuts far too close to the bone for my own comfort. Always makes me cry.

Having said that, I think it’s a fantastic track and listening to it now, it has a certain “pick me upness” about it because it reminds me of how far I’ve come since I was a screwed up 15 year old.

They all remind me of certain stages in my life which weren’t pretty at all.
though the most depressing song they did is ‘close your eyes’. it was never recorded officially, there’s just a recording of it from an accoustic set andy and martin did some time ago. I hoped they’d resurrect it for NANE which apperently they didn’t. well, maybe next time.

Six Mile Water, I felt really down during some exams once and listened to that almost non-stop. Makes me think of a friendship I had that disintegrated, but I don’t want it back, you have to move on

Dead has a similar feel to it but like previously said its more angry than introspective

You gotta look at Troublegum for T? most depressing songs. I was in my suicidal prime when Troublegum came out, and listening to Screamager, Trigger Inside, Nowhere, and especially Unbeliever made me fall in love with music. I, luckily, have grown up with T? and seemed to have cheered up as T? lyrics have cheered up. And now I listen to new tracks such as Polar Bear and Last One To Heavens A Loser and I smile more than ever. I love this band so much. Andy and Michael are gods to me. :)

we definitely have something in common. troublegum was my first album as well. however, i never thought of Andy and Michaeld because they never seemed to be so far away from me…

anyway… i’m surprised that nobody has mentioned safe yet. i always find that one to be very depressing.

the germs keeps these buildings alive and every day we feed them with our dirt and rotten memories…

it’s hard to say the most depressing one. though unbeliever, jude the obscene and gone are probably my top 4 along with safe.
