My poor mom!

Started by Ronald

She thinks she will be 50 tomorrow without anything strange coming her way…she should have known better since her youngest son has set up a surprise party on Saturdaynight, since he sent her 50 postcards, since he arranged a traffic sign with 50 on it…:D

MY mum was 50 nearly (ish) 20 years ago, she still rocks in a my-mum’s-the-coolest-preson-I-know sort of way.My g/f’s mum will be 50 either next month or next year (really better check that) & is also one of the coolest people I know in a lot of ways. Not so much a 50-is-the-new-40 woman as a fuck-you-if-you-think-my-age-has-got-anything-to-do-with-anything, except she’s too polite to swear.

My dad introduced me to Alabama 3, literally, at a party. Got drunk with them. Ok guys, but a bit too stuck up for their own good.

my parents only listen to classical music, the best victory i had was when my mum had nirvana unplugged in her car for a few years that was good, since then ive been trying to get her to listen to metallica s&m but i doubt she’ll like that. once cought my dad listening to alice cooper but the less said about that the better.

my mom is 62 in the meanwhile and comes up everytime with s.th new shocking.
since this year she absolutely wild about motorbikes and always cruising around with a friend from work.
she like also metallica (as some might remember she was with us at a show and she loved it…and she can even show the horns, it just takes a while to organise her fingers :D), apocalyptica and of course t?…she’s even really likes the new album, only mistake she did, was: “yeah, you can really hear that is metallica”

only thing she doesn’t like about T? and would even tell andy, when it would be possible, is when he was getting the wine over his head and then “playing” with his spit during the bizarre ‘98 show…i think that’s s.th she will never forget and tell me again and again.
