Winnebago Deal are a duo - like the White Stripes on crack! - they play dirty rock n roll - try downloading ‘manhunt’ by them - a class track and a pretty good indication of how hard they rock!

I don’t know what Tee shirt I’ll be wearing. I don’t plan that far ahead. Ramdomness is king.

I think that there’s a 75% chance of me wearing my Stiff Little Fingers tee…

You guys don’t know me but just thought I’d let you know I’m gonna be there too…think I’ll wear my grey (used to be black) signed Infernal Love tee, so if you see me feel free to say hello/sell me a demo!

It’s OK, no-one knows me either.

I’m telling people what tee shirt I’m most likely to be wearing, but still no-one knows what I look like so it’s useless info.

Just idle chat, whilst I’m bored at work. Makes the day go… erm… faster.

Title: Manchester Tonight - Well Last Night Now (merged)

Just got back to the leafy suburbs of Manchester and my ears are ringing.
The lads were on top form. It was a shame the crowd was so thin on the ground.
They seemed really at ease and this came across in the playing - tight yet relaxed. Andy’s voice was superb and to be fair to the soundman that is the best sound I have heard in the Academy 3 ever. Full stop. It was really crisp and clear throughout.
The setlist ran as follows:

Church Of Noise
Unbeliever
Die Like A Motherfucker
Rock You Monkeys
If It Kills Me
This Ship Is Sinking
Stories
Perish The Thought
Rust
Here Be Monsters
Turn
Die Laughing
Teethgrinder
Nowhere
Rise Up
Polar Bear
Sister
Potato Junkie
Screamager
Isolation
Knives

The between song banter was superb. Especially the Slipknot jibe before Polar Bear - Andy sang most of the song with a polar bear mask on!!
Anyway - I hope someone recorded this ;) :D ;)
Superb show - if you are in two minds as to whether to catch any of the tour - like you should be - all I can say is get the fuck down to a venue near you!!

Aaaah - just got back… Top gig! I just want to appologise to Hey Satan and Hooch - if I came across as rude I appologise as I was pretty hammered and my brother had some pretty potent skunk which seems to have dulled my senses somewhat!…

it was really nice to meet you and I wish I could have heard what you actually said to me (I am really deaf after standing next to an 8 speaker bass amp for 3 years without protection! - again I can only appologise!)

Any way - sorry if I came accross as a tit…!

I am going to collapse now!

Got back about 20 mins ago, fantastic set as always, the bit with the polar bear mask sure was funny!

AND I got to meet Andy and Neil afterwards! First time for me!!!

Carl - seems I missed you by about 15 mins in Font.
Gav - I was there too!!!!

Right as Hooch and Heysatan know - I’m a teensy bit tired - so I’m gonna crash, just wanted to thank you guys for making it such a great night and for all of your help :)

*hugs to you both*

By the way - the demo rocks! The singer has a really good voice and the sound is really smart for a demo - mixed really well! nice job!

You pound those drums pretty hard as well!

Title: Awesome!

Just wanted to thank the band for an unbelievable night in Manchester - superb set and great performance. Never thought you’d do Polar Bear so was really chuffed when you did, and the mask was a nice amusing touch. They were that good, even the ex asked for a listen to the old albums.
Like you said - see you next year !!
