Did anyone else think there were a hell of a lot of photographers at the start of the gig? Hopefully that’ll mean a review is some rag or other.

The set list was pretty much the same as the one posted from the Aberdeen gig, though Innocent X was kept back for the encore with Teethgrinder moving into the main set.

Guess we live in an unfriendly and violent society and want to avoid strange looks and bloody noses!

No, we went to the bar after the main set as my other half was beginning to worry about her hearing as she had a really important meeting this morning - her mate said she’d cover for her in the meeting, but then she was stood next to us all the time too…

We would have gone for a set list if we’d stayed at the front :( Still, got one last year. You’re welcome to the towel though ;)

We’re the most normaly people in the world. It’s everyone else that’s strange… but they’re all foreigners, and we mustn’t be too harsh on them ;).

I spotted you, you were right in front of Neil (what a surprise :p).
I thought it was a great gig, not as good as Brussels and Cologne, but very good. I thought the crowd was quite into it though there were some songs they were a bit reluctant (e.g. Innocent X).
That ‘Here Be Monsters’ bloke stood right in front of me, what a wanker.
It was nice to see andy playing part of Isolation and Knives sitting and kneeling because of his loose guitar strap and to hear him play bits of Teenage Kicks.
I also didn’t meet any WoMbles, you seem to be very shy indeed.
Some words to the support bands:
Tokyo Dragons were boring, not bad, just boring. A mixture of AC/DC / Jet with Hellacopters-style posing.
Winnebago Deal were Ace, just guitar and drums rocking as hell. It reminded me of Cosmic Psychos from down under with bits of early Nirvana and Amphetamine Reptile bands like Halo Of Flies, in my opinion the best opener they had for ages.
It’s been the last of six fine T? gigs this year, bring on the next tour. :D

They played Infernal Love though! First time I’ve heard that played live and it was quality.
Damn fine gig all round.

The whole WD fan club was assembled right before me during their gig. after they’ve finished they left for Helmet, the only thing that makes WD dislikeable.
Sam said there was a proper aftershow party. anyone knows if Helmet were involved?
And another note, isn’t it a good sign for a band when touts are still selling tickets for their shows and bootleg tshirts after? ;)

Got to the gig during Winnebago Deal’s set. Great stuff. I have no idea what to really call that type of music, but stonerpunkgrunge will do :p They rocked anyway.
Therapy?’s set was good, but not as good as any of the past times I’ve seen them. I guess the fact that the crowd really weren’t that loud (“If I wanted to play Inverness, I’d play fucking Inverness”) and the mosh pit was a bit tame (compared to other T? gigs I’ve attended) didn’t help. Some of the songs were missing a second guitar, but Andy did pretty well on his own. I love how he played the solo to “Unbeliever”. Good to hear some of the more rare stuff played live, like “Sister”, “Epilepsy” and “Innocent X”, which I haven’t heard live before. Michael rocked as usual and Neil is a pretty fucking good drummer.
Oh, and I didn’t see any WoMbles either :( I was pretty close to Michael a few rows back for most of the gig.
