problem! problem! problem!

next week i have to give a presentation about “organisational change and the communication linked with it” in front of the classroom. boring as hell, i know, and therefore i would like to make it a bit more exciting by starting off with a short piece (5-10 mins) of a movie or so… only problem is that i can’t seem to find an appropriate movie…

it should have to do something with
- someone or some organisation that has a certain problem
- that someone/organisation has to change/think about how to cope with the problem
- that someone/organisation does not necessarily have to solve the problem

preferably
- it’s something funny
- it’s a famous movie

i’ve been thinking about this movie-thingy for about 2 weeks now, and still don’t know, so i’m asking you, hope you can help me. feel free to freestyle around - all ideas are welcome!

hope you can help me, thank you, and you may continue your most interesting activities after having replied :)

cheers

The morning when she starts her diary shows that she acknowlegded the problem and that she wants to do something about it. The rest of the movie shows how badly she fails :). I do love that film. Can’t wait till the new one opening next week :D

But… the Godfather’s all about family! Surely that makes it a chick flick? And it’s got a horse in it! My Litttle Pony wasn’t a boys toy you know!

Change management how? Change management involves a little more than swapping ends at half time!

hey all, thanx for the suggestions :) - more are always welcome of course! doesn’t matter if it’s funny, if it’s sci-fi, maffia or romantic as long as some change is involved..

@OK!: thought about “het eiland” already, and that would fit perfectly, but i don’t have anything of it on video/dvd… anyone else maybe?

by the way, does anybody know if “The Office” has been released on video/dvd already? not seen that one yet, but heard about it, and i’m rather sure some scenes would fit as well..

The first serious advice here. Brilliant idea.
I’d h have suggested Rififi-style movie wher detailed plans (e.g. how to rob a bank are shown endetail.
But that Pulp Fiction scene is way better.
