Anyone remember the Mary Whitehouse Experience?

I have just downloaded the first series of http://www.uknova.com

Its quite funny but its not as good as I remember - maybe the second series was better… I need to keep a look out for Newman and Baddiel in pieces too.

Am half way through downloading ‘Bad News’ and ‘More Bad News’

Isnt bit torrent ace!

I do. Quality’s not great cause they’re very old tapes and have been played to death. I can’t copy stuff - I might be persuadable if you wanted to borrow them though.

Hmmm - If you lend them to me - I will copy them to dvd, that way it you dont have to worry about the tape getting knackered…

I will throw in the Mary Whitehouse stuff on dvd as well as a brucie bonus - again the quality isnt great as they have been downloaded!

That Milky Milky bloke and the small one with stupid hair really annoy me these days. Mind you, so does David Baddiel. As for that Rob Newman…

Yeah - I have just downloaded the first series of Fist of Fun - watched the first half last night! It has stood the test of time a little better than The Mary Whitehouse stuff. There were a few points where I was pissing myself laughing…

The Mary Whitehouse stuff will probably never see a DVD release as apparently Rob Newman hates the stuff he did in the 90’s and will block any attempt of a release. They were never repeated on tv either.

Ah - dont do that then - it would take the rest of your life to send.

If you have a cd burner do a copy and we can sort out a postal trade… as long as you have a DVD player that can play copies (most usually do - but it would be worth checking the instructions to see whether it plays +R or -R)

but yeah, i can burn you a copy - if my CD burner still works anyway!

I got hold of a copy of the first and second series on DVD the other day. The first series is a bit naff…but the second series is far far better and just as funny as i remember..also it has all the charactors that i remember…History today/Mr Strange and Ray:D I’m really enjoying seeing it again.
I have found the Newman and Baddiel series on DVD to buy (copies of course) which i might try and buy as they come with an extra DVD of three hours of live stuff.

I would Love for the BBC to re-release these.
