no animal bones in vienna :(
no loser cop or meat abstract … :(

They played Loose in 2002 … well probably it was the gig, i couldn´t go to, cause i had to play a gig myself at that night :(

Well Femtex should be on the bill from TG … next time … or better “tatty seaside town” and “femtex” … that would do it for songs from 94 … don´t need anything else (well turn is fav) but thats it :)

The band has actually played the older stuff quite a lot. There’s not much worthwhile from the old days that T? hasn’t played repeatedly.

I can never understand why they only played songs like Opal Mantra, Don’t Expect Roses and Gimme Back My Brain only a handful of times.

also I would like to hear a couple of B sides now and again: like Pantapon Rose or Evil Elvis.

But hey you cant have everything you want. They are great live whatever they play mind you.

Urgh, tried this, got a list of 20 songs — way too many.

So, apart from the whole of the Shameless tour songs again, here’s 10. Some I have heard before (and I really miss), and some I haven’t heard before:

.. nope, can’t do it, can’t trim it to 10. so here’s 15:

accelerator
bad karma
black eye, purple sky
bloody blue
fat camp
gimme back my brain
he’s not that kind of girl
jam jar jail
joey
loose
me vs you
punishment kiss

Our Love Must Die was played live on Radio 1 just as it was released (on a B side of…dammit I forget). The live version was excellent, and until I lost the knackered old tape i taped it off the radio onto, it was one of my fave T? items

You’ll also find it on the Dead Laughing bootleg. The version on this one is the same as on the Fanclub 1996 cd, but Dead Laughing is way easier to get.

I want to hear some Nurs songs live other than teethgrinder… never even seen them do Nausea… Neck Freak would be brilliant, well maybe. Theyve done most of the babyteeth stuff recently (not that I’ve seen them play them all, sob) so anything from Pleasure Death and Nurse would float my proverbial boat.

When Nurse was released in 1992, Kerrang! printed an T? interview. Andy Cairns said that the people that pogo’d at their gigs were the same people that cried their eyes out when they heard ‘Gone’, Andy’s story of an old girlfriend.

That track sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it and though I doubt it very much they played it at all on stage, I reckon it would send off the same emotions on stage as it would on Nurse.

Quiet start, mournful (as the song is), with a thrashy ending.

I think we can only picture the band doing it.

I’d worship them for real if they’d play Suing God live. Oh and aslong as we’re talking about complete fantasy we might aswell include Jam Jar Jail and Totally Random Man.

And while they’re covering Joy Divison slip in The Kill, thank you ;)

There are a few bootlegs out there with Gone on it. “Not lunacy” is one of them. There`s no cello and it`s been shortend a lot. That being said, it´s still sounds very good, I probably like this version better than the studio one.
