I was flicking through this months MetalHammer and there is an album review for a band called Left Side Brain and it says the opening track Figures on their debut album Equal And Opposite has the lush and intense feeling of Troublegum era Therapy?.The album gets 8/10 and says influenced by Therapy? and reccomends Troublegum.
I’ve yet to hear a song by Left Side Brain so i have no idea if they sound like T? but i might check them out,a few other bands that have a slight T? influence are Joyrider and Throat.

Left Side Brain do have a slight Therapy/Kerbdog quality to them!

I’ve know this band for about 2 years now, they are awsome on CD and live, just had the pleasure of playing with them live and they blew me away again. if you get a chance check ‘em out at http://www.leftsidebrain.com

i can’t really think of any other abnds that have a Therapy? quality to them, most likely cause Therapy? are a one and only truely amazing band!

Kerbdog add second ‘one-off’ show

10 Dec 2004

Cormac Battle’s cult band Kerbdog have announced an extra Dublin date, but insist the reunion will go no further than the live dates

With their previously announced date there a complete sell-out, Kerbdog have confirmed a second Temple Bar Music Centre, Dublin show on February 4.

Tickets priced €17.50 are on sale now.

Huge cult favourites during the ’90s, the Kilkenny outfit insist that the reunion’s a one-off but who know what’ll happen when they hear the roar of the crowd again!

For those of you who missed out on the grunge/hardcore/nu-metal years, the band’s singer, guitarist and main songwriter is none other than 2FM man Cormac Battle.

No-one really sounds like T? but I always think of The Almighty when I hear some T? licks and vice-versa.

Jonestown Mind by The Almighty has a very T? ring to it I think. And Mr C himself is on that track… :D

No band sounds like T?. Not even in the slightest way and that’s because there’s only one Andy, one Michael and one Neil. Maybe too simple, but true!!
