Worst Live Bands

#

Started by Kyle Bovine (K B)

this thread is for the worst band you’ve ever seen live, even if its a band you like but a particular performance you hate, post it here. (if this thread was done before don’t flame me you bastids):p

mine are:

No Doubt
The Hives
The Revs
Flint
David Gray

all shite live, in my opinion, even though some of their recorded stuff aint too bad.

Korn at the T&C. Spent the second half of the gig in the toilets - believe me, it was preferable.

Oh and Incubus at Glasgow SECC. Left after 4 tracks as they were utter shite!

Oh and the Charlatans, and Jimmy Eat World who were just too boring - musically superb - stage presence zip!

Worst recent gig has to be Oceansize in Edinburgh Venue. Love the album but hell did they sound rank in a small venue. The support band blew them off the stage!

Lost Prophets - shite shite and more shite (and Ive seen em twice!)
and
Metallica - Ive never seen a band take so many long breaks between songs . They were onstage (ish) for two hours but only seemed to play and hours worth of music adn it was only the last three songs that really rocked

The Darkness- I don’t care how many ‘Best Live band’ stuff they’ve won, the time I saw them, they were CRAP.

Also, Linkin Park were playing, and despite the god-awful material, they didn’t put on a bad show. I clapped out of respect at the end, with a disaffected look on my face and the wind in my hair.

Smashing Pumpkins
The Cult

…not to mention those numerous untalented bands that are shite live ‘coz their music is shite.

I will agree with you on The Cult even though their last two shows they did here in Atlanta were really good but I saw them in 94 and they blew and I’ve also heard alot of live material before and Ian needs to stick to the way the songs are supposed to go not when he feels like singing!

Amplifer
Papa Roach
Korn
