Albums for 2005

#

Started by Last Wave

Which albums are you looking forward to this year?

The one I’m most looking forward at the moment is Twin Zero’s “Monolith” album, which comes out at the end of the month in the UK.

I think Tool and Deftones are certainly worth looking into, not sure if I’d buy them, have to listen first.

I’ve already listened to the new …Trail Of Dead and it will definitely be one of the highlights of this year.

I’m also looking forward to the albums from Biffy Clyro, Alkaline Trio and Kettcar. And I’m always open to let bands surprise me.

have been listening to Frances The Mute for the last week now, and must say… eeeerrrhhhhhh… another the-mars-volta-style-killer-album! more mental, more trippy than deloused, a lot of pot involved probably too, loads of interludes (5 tracks with different sections, all connected by crazy interludes), some spanish singing as well! and the widow as a single is not representative at all - not at all! (and before you ask, yes i will be buyng it again as soon as it’s in the shops - which will be march the very 1st :))

Turbonegro. The last album in their “Apocalypse” trilogy will just wipe the floor with any other album.

Wildhearts are supposed to be doing a new album.

It’ll be god to see if Judas Priest can pull it off too.

g’n’r (the chinese democracy, it’s all a lie, it doesn’t exist. it’s never coming out)

Its far to early to say what albums I’m going to get. The two SOAD albums look promising. It’ll interesting what the Priest have got lined up (Painkiller was a classic), Maiden might return, and who knows, perhaps Therapy? will release another album.

But as said, its a bit early to say until release dates are confirmed.

Sorry my mistake i thought the thread said Albums for 3005,the saga of Gun N Roses has gone on long enough i read an interview with the current bass player and he says there are some tracks finished but who knows with Axl maybe they will scrap the lot of them and start again and again…

Oasis will be releasing a new album sometime later in the year but it will probably be another hit and miss affair.

The wait brings Second Coming to mind, and that was a huge disappointment

And depressingly I’ll go and buy it hoping that you’re wrong but knowing that you won’t be…
