Bad Mother, who got it?

#

Started by Joel (Joel Wreford)

I was just wondering if it was anyone on WoM who got the Bad Mother single from a certain online market place that will remain nameless (in case they get another one!).

I got an email on 22nd Dec from the site to say it had come up on my wish list. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it for sale! But I didn’t check my email for a few days and by the time I got to the site it had gone. For only £19.95 as well. Arse!

Come on, own up, who was it!

(I’ve stopped crying about it now though!)

:( saw it on one Belgian recordstore website in 97 and it was there for 10$…I didn´t have the oppoturnity to order it back then, cause I didn´t own a creditcard in those days of my studentlife, damn!!! After that I have seen only one appearing in the net and it was few years then on EBAY, and it went to USA for about 100£ (if I remember right.:))
Still searching for my “mother”…maby someday I´ll get it for “free”, in my dreams…

I have one and I used to have 2 of them but I traded it for the German re-release of Stories, the second Lonely Cryin’ Only-single and a signed copy of My Voodoo Doll and I regretted it only 3 times since but hey I still have one and money isn’t everything nut I think I could have gotten 2 days salary for it on E-Bay. Now I have made a certain Womble from Ghent happy and that is a great reward as well.

I both bought them at the same time in the CD-store where I work now 8 years later. That was the first time I saw it and I knew immediately that a second copy would come in handy after a while and so it did.

eerrrhhh… no no, that certain womble studied in ghent, he studies in antwerp now and still lives in sint-niklaas (confusion… huh?)

(and from what i’ve heard, he’s still very very very happy with that bad mother-single - so again a big thank him from me to you ;))

sorry, i changed my mind.

fiestaboy, since your “you know him better than me”-comment, i just don’t want your bad-mother-single anymore. i have mixed feelings about the whole thing now, so…
don’t worry about me, i’ll find it somewhere else.

you can come and pick it up at my house. i live in halen nowadays, in the ***straat (please mail me for the correct address); you can find the single there. i probably won’t be home, since i’m studying in antwerp, so you can tell my parents that i allowed you to get the copy, don’t worry, it’s somewhere in between my other t?-cds, you’ll find it.

two more things; one, please beware of the dog, and two, my parents call me “robby” these days, so please say “hello, robby said i could come and pick up his copy of the bad mother-single, is it ok if i come in”. they will understand then..

so, that’s it - just let me know as you have it!

cheers

(and a big fat ;) to the both of you)
