I like Spineshank a lot, which is pretty new for me.

But more importantly, what could be considered new is a band which came back from the dead. I’m talking about Megadeth here, who released Risk some time ago, which is probably the worst album ever released, especially for Megadeth.

But now… they’re back! I bought their new album ‘The world needs a hero’ yesterday, which, apart from the not so cool title, kicks ass! Don’t get me wrong, it’s no ‘Rust in Peace’ (one of my top ten favorite albums of all time), but Megadeth definitely woke up and started making real music again!

Anyone else here got it?

Yeah, Megadeth rulez!

I downloaded (pardon me- but CDs are so expensive now) their new album and I really fuckin’ like it. I also listened to risk a bit, but I don’t know what to think of it- yet. I think Insomnia is really great, though.
So I’m gonna buy them both eventually.
And yes, Rust In Peace is one of the best records you’ll ever hear.
It has everything. It’s fast, aggressive, technically great and straight in your face.

Best ‘Metal’ albums of the 90s: Aenima, Troublegum, Draconian Times, Rust In Peace, System Of A Down, Korn, Welcome To Sky Valley, Angel Dust, a Deftones album…oh well a lot more…I can’t stop…

I ‘ve heard Moto Psycho and Losing My Senses off the new album and i think that these two songs are awful. I hope the rest of the album isn’t that bad.
