I just got this album off the net as I was curious about it. I can’t stand Guns n’ roses but this is pretty good, nothing life changing, just good to listen to.

why no one is complaining that the guitar sounds pretty much like stalk and slash by therapy??
other than vertigo by u2, everyone shoutet at them for that unforgiveable disaster.. but not velvet revolver? not that i want to protect u2 for all the things that youve said but its strange that no one is complaining about velvet revolvers slither

I don’t mind the album but i do think it’s to long if they had cut a few songs then maybe i wouldn’t skip a few when listening but i’m seeing them live next month so we shall see how they hold up in concert.

I noticed a song similar to T? but I still don’t know which song it is because the only time I listened to the album was in the car and due to traffic I couldn’t take the CD to hand to read the tracklisting but you’re right.

My mate says it was one of the best gigs he’d ever been to.

Gapu.
I can see a little bit of a similarity. I think it was more the coincidence that U2 and T? stem from the same Island and that there is a bigger chance of them having heard Sister than Velvet Revolver having heard Stalk n Slash.
If you know what I mean…

I was really disappointed with the Velvet Revolver album. Nothing worse than wasted (no pun intended) talent.

When I saw VR I thought they were class. Slash is a nutcase on stage, always moving, which was a surprise cos he’s so laid back in interviews.
A couple of my mates met him a year or two back and said he was sound, no pretentions, real friendly and just strollin around like an ordinary Joe Soap, not a bodyguard in sight.

I think thats a reason why no matter how fucked up GnR got you couldn’t help like Slash as he was harmless and didn’t slag people off. But as you said he was very mobile on stage and he seemed to do most of the between song banta at my gig which he never used to do.

Thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard
Do people on this board do nothing but listen to songs that bear a slight resemblance to therapy? songs and come on here to complain ?
Nobody seems to mention that Therapy have riffs that are blatantly ripped off other bands.
Like the middle 8 from trigger inside is The Four Horsemen by Metallica…And dont get me started on Shameless…!!!!
