Therapy?- Iron man

#

As I was flicking through the pages of Kerrang this week there was a review of Ozzys boxset. As you know T? did a cover with OZZY on this. I can’t remember the exact words of the reviewer, but it was something like ‘Therapy?s artless attempt at Iron man… I think T? Iron man is very good, what does everyone else think?? :)

I would prefered Andy on vocals rather than Ozzy(it was mean’t to be a tribute after all)

But Therapy? wouldn’t be there without Mr. Osbourne, as I remember that Ozzy himself WANTED Therapy? to do the backing track on that tune… And yes it would be great to hear Andy’s vocals on that too.

I never liked Iron Man as a song, and I don’t think its “style” sounds anything like Therapy?. So in that sense I don’t like it. If T? wanted to make a Black Sabbath/Ozzy cover should have been Paranoid or Ozzy’s Crazy train that match more their sound.

As much as I love T? and Ozzy, that track from NIB album is pretty weak. Back in 1994 (when this version of the track was first released), Ozzy dismissed the track shortly after its release.

In saying that, Biohazard’s version of ‘After Forever’ would’ve been great if they didn’t keep shouting ‘motherfucker’ all the way through it.

dunno, i like it. with andy screaming faintly in the back, i think it’s an OK tune, not a great one, but not bad either.

I don’t think it is too bad, at least not to the extent of the reporters comments, Paranoid would have been a cool cover, but saying that I thought Megadeths cover on NIB was good

I think the cover sounds too much like the original with Ozzy singing. What was the point really?

I love the song they did with Fatal on the Judgement Night soundtrack! What a killer tune!
