Is this an english band? man i’m out of touch with uk music. All i hear are aussie and american bands , apart from a handful of australian bands most of them are fucking shit! like bad student union bands or the worst pub rock band ever, but they love them over here. But they have a huge black and death metal scene, which isn’t my cup of tea either.

Mmmmm tea

They are from New York I think, The music reminds me of Blondie / Talking Heads / early New Order (that doesnt mean they sound like them - they just remind me)

Its kinda disco / new wave / i dont know as I am useless at catagorising bands…

To me they just seem a little bit to contrived to be taken seriously but there are a couple of really good songs. They seem to throw 80’s style sounds around a little unnecessarily… which get in the way of the songs.

‘Honest Mistake’ is fantastic.

That’s the song I’ve heard. I read that they wanted to go for a mix of punk and 80’s synth-pop.

Doesn’t mean that’s what they are, mind you.
