Supershit666 was a colaboration with a couple of the guys from Backyard Babies and the Hellacopters - Backyard Babies did an updated version of Star War on one of their albums.

Title: I found that Wildhearts DVD on ebay for £19.99!

Hi mate, I found The Wildhearts DVD on ebay there now. The guy who’s selling it is a British bloke who is living in South Korea. He is only looking £19.99 for it and £3 postage. I have just got one of him and he’s only got one left. I think it would be cheeper to buy from him than HMV Japan. Here’s the link.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1055 … 3&rd=1

Hi there Nick I’m Darren and i’m from ‘Norn Iron’ as well.I like The Wildhearts too but i’m guess what you would term a ‘new fan’ I bought The Wildhearts must be destroyed and Coupled With recently and i really like them.I heard about Gut pulling out of the DVD project but they never really supported the band anyway.Even when The Darkness hand picked The Wildhearts as their support band.Gut wouldn’t pay tour support for The Wildhearts so all the money came out of the bands own pockets. If you love/hate/indifferent to The Darkness i think anyone(well apart from the stupid fuckers at Gut) could admit getting a support slot with them is a big deal and would open your band to a wider audience and sell more albums.
Which one of The Wildhearts earlier albums do you think i should get next?

Hi there Darren, I think the sooner that The Wildhearts find a new record labal the better. Gut simply arn’t good enough for them and it’s not the first time thay have been dumped on by a record labal ether. They had a huge bust up with their first labal East West and have changed their labal a few times since then. As for The Darkness I think that thay are ok, but The Wildhearts are miles better, I think The Darkness should be supporting them on tour and not the other way around. But I do agree it can only do The Wildhearts the world of good to be seen and associated with a band which are very popular at the moment. I wouln’t say I was a massave fan of The Darkness but I think it’s better to hear their stuff on the radio and other rock bands like Green Day and Feeder the some of the other shite you hear in the charts these days.
If you want my advise on one of The Wildhearts earlyer albums, why not try their criticly acclaimed debut album ‘Earth vs The Wildhearts’. You won’t be disipointed, trust me. Hope to hear from you soon and let me know what you think of it if you get it. Cheers! :D

It’s the first I heard of it but I wouldn’t be suprised. You are right it’s a mad world. It’s shite the way some bands can get so much recognition in such a short time and others (even though thay my be very good) might not get very much in their entire careers. Sound like anyone we know? ;)

I got Coupled with for just 1 song. Return To Zero. I picked up all their singles from ‘The Widhearts Must Be Destroyed’ as thay came out. Return To Zero is the only one I didn’t own cos it only came out on the 7” vinyl single ‘So Into You’ and I couldn’t find it in the shops, plus I don’t like records anyway and I don’t have any way of playing them. I was worth buying Coupled With for that one song though, I think it is brillent!
By the way as you my already know that the B-Side ‘Better Than Cable’ was also released on the 7” vinyl single to ‘Vinilla Radio’, but I got that song on the Japanese import album ‘Riff After Riff After Motherfucking Riff’.
It’s the only thing I wish The Wildhearts would stop doing… releasing exclusive B-Sides on vinyl. It then means I gotta go serching for rare Japanese imoprts to see if thay are on the CD. I my opinion vinyl is out of date and music shops don’t seem to stock them these days, plus almost all modern stereo’s nowadays don’t have a recored player on them. But then again, there are still people out there who prefair vinyl to CD’s, I guess The Wildhearts wouldn’t keep making them if the fans didn’t want them. Let me know what you think. :)

Are the wildhearts big In japan?
Plus I think they should just release them on single as they are alot easier to get hold of, plus I don’t have anything to play vinyl on so they’d be know use to me!

Yes The Wildhearts are very big in Japan. Thay release the same albums as over here, but sometimes the tracklisting on the CD’s is slightly different. Sometimes thay bring out some japanese only CD’s (like riff after riff)but the song on them we have over here on a different CD format. If you know what I mean.

I was going to buy riff after riff a while back, but it was 30 pounds so I decided to buy ‘coupled with’ instead.

Your better of with Coupled With I think. You are not missing out on any song by not owning Riff After Riff. Coupled With has got all the same somgs and much more.
And yes The Wildhearts do tour Japan quite a bit I think. CJ even lives there last I herd.
