Why has Therapy? forsaken Copenhagen again?

#

Started by gimleno1

I’m extremely unhappy with the fact that Therapy? for the second time in a row decides to skip Copenhagen…what’s going on? On the 2002 tour you even played Aarhus aswell, which is the second biggest in Denmark and now you completely ignore us?

That’s really weak, guys!

Yes, I liked that concert in Kopenhagen as well, but hey, this is only the first leg of the tour, so I’d say start stalking that venue or whoever you need to stalk to get Therapy? back…good luck!

Hopefully they will do many Scandinavian dates (like in 2002) after these “warm-up” gigs. They are getting older and they need a proper warm-up, so they can keep the pace up with us scandinavians, right? :D
(This is my way of saying; “Come to Finland lads!!!!”)

You are welcome!

You don’t need finnish passport to come to Finland Standinline, all you need is ID. I don’t know what this “no passport needed if you are from scandinavia” is called but it has been going much earlier than Schengen thing in europe.

If T? skips Sweden again then you fellas have been really, really bad few years back (anyone know what happened?).
I used to envy you swedes as they were more frequently in your country than in Finland, now it seem to gone other way around… :p

Why does everyone assume T? can tour anywhere? Sorry to be like this but I get sick of reading these kinda threads. It costs money that they simply don’t have. T? finance tours themselves. They don’t take money off spitfire to help so they’re relying on promoters, merchandise and ticket sales to get the money back. Its not their choice to skip somewhere everytime, they might occasionally and thats their call but if there’s no promoter willing to put on a gig in a certain town then they can’t feasibly do it.

Title: Copenhagen not good enough for T? anymore? (merged thread)

I’m really hurt as to why T? seems to have started to skip Copenhagen whenever they tour these days, I saw them in 2002 and that was apparently what was going to be the last time, or what?

SHAME ON YOU!

I don’t think you should blame T? for that, but the clubs in Copenhagen who don’t ask T? to play there.

I really don’t know how things go in music business but could it be so that if you are not “that big” (like our dearly beloved trio) that you are on the covers of magazines and your music get airwaves by radio, you have to do some promotion yourself, well if not by the band members themselves but get someone to promote them to club owners and festival organizers…

I once heard in the 80’s when I played in a band this that applies still today; “Nobody will come to your rehersals and drag you to gigs or recording studio”.

And as this is “the countries that Therapy? don’t play at this tour”-thread, I can whine a little; Did you also forgot Finland and all the nice gigs you so far had..? :p

Hey, if you really want to see T? they are playing at Mejeriet in Lund, Sweden in April.

Lund is apprx just 10 minutes away from Malmoe by train.

And Malmoe is apprx 35 minutes away from Copenhagen. There are trains arriving/leaving every 30 minutes… so what the f*ck are you complaining about.
