Ah, I see, very good :-)

Could you make that smiley for me, Dennis? I’m not sure what that one should look like! I agree they’re not very important, but I just wanted to do a bit of an easy, less serious update after the moderation update I have been working on a lot recently.

Yes, sorry about that. All smilies work without a hyphen except the skeptical one, for technical reasons. I might be able to fix this later, but for now you’ll have to type it with a hyphen.

FYI, words like eek and mad (surrounded by colons) also still work for backwards compatibility.

And what’s with the ‘Edit:’ - are you pulling my leg? ;-)

There is a simple solution for this, without littering the boards with unnecessary quotes of the post directly above. If you want to address someone specifically, construct your sentence in such a way it’s clear who you’re replying to by saying something like “Hooch, although you claim your cat isn’t the brightest, have you considered blah blah blah.”

Should there be replies posted while you were writing yours, it’s still clear who you were replying to and people who haven’t seen the comment from the person you’re addressing can simply scroll up to read it, while the rest of us aren’t bothered with reading duplicate content.

It’s from a Danko Jones song indeed - ‘Play The Blues’ from the ‘Born A Lion’ album. I’m very into Danko’s music at the moment, especially the new ‘Sleep Is The Enemy’ album.
