Kudos to your dad for washing up to the sounds of Infernal Love and creating another Therapy? fan along the way, and cool to hear it triggered you to get a lot more Therapy? stuff and to see them live. I have the Irony? shirt myself as well, and it is still one of my favourite T?-shirts. Oh, and just for the record (no pun intended), Have a Merry Fucking Christmas was not released on CD, but only on 7” vinyl in 2 versions, original and bootleg. It’s nice to have them as a collector, but you’re not missing much when it comes to With Or Without You. It’s been a while since I listened to it, but it’s not a particularly great cover if I remember correctly…

Have you seen FLC live as well, by the way? Great band, and especially enjoyable live.

I started listening to Therapy? when I was your current age, and it’s cool that you already started at the age of 12. It does make me feel old, though - I’m turning 30 next month! Which T? albums do you have/like? My favourite is Suicide Pact - You First, but I like most of their stuff.

Please tell me you’ve bought Never Apologise Never Explain and Suicide Pact-You First in the mean time? :-)

I’m not a big collector of Therapy? bootlegs, but one I’d personally recommend is “Dead Laughing”, which has been discussed in this thread. There are others on the message boards who know a lot more about T? bootlegs than me, so hopefully one of them will be able to give you some more advice.

Yeah, us women have a sixth sense for things like that.

I hope there won’t be, but yes, there are other ways to keep them away.

This reminds me of a stand-up comedian from the US I saw on the telly the other day. He said he was turned on by watching TV commercials for phonesex lines in his hotel in Holland the night before, until the girl in the commercial used the number 8 while saying the phone number, which sounds a bit like throwing up your breakfast (at least that’s the way he described it). That wasn’t really a turn on for him ;-)

Just in case you haven’t heard it yet, can I please recommend Suicide Pact-You First as your next T? purchase? Then again, if you’re ‘not really into wild punk ‘n rock bands’ it might not be the best choice for you. It’s never too late to learn, though…
