Thanks for your nice words! I appreciate the fact that like the site and took the time to tell me… I got some more reactions about my message board being slow, and I’m looking into this issue. If I run the message boards offline they’re really fast. The site is hosted with a provider in the USA, so that could be a factor, as I’ve noticed myself it depends a lot on the time your visiting the site.

I have some ideas on how to improve the site, in which you and other visitors could help me out. I’ll ask for your help in the near future, in testing some other websites. I will try to make it better!

I yet have to take a good like at the whole site, but I’m a bit disappointed with the way it looks, from my first impression. I liked the red one better. I think it’s a bit too dark, just like mine before the new design…

Did you have this problem before, or is this the first time? What browser are you using (name, platform, version)? Do you have cookies enabled in your browser?

I’m going to move them to the right board. I just don’t have the time nor the right arm to do it. I’ll do it soon.

The ‘add reply’ bug has been removed, as far as I can see. Please try to post a reply to this message to see if it works for you.

Read the ‘Message Board Updates’ post for info on posts being shown as new.

The reply bug should be gone. I’ll work on the bug regarding all messages being shown as new. Hope this helps. I’m sorry for the inconvinience. Pretty fast problem solving though, huh? :-)

Nevermind, I already figured out the problem… I’ll work on the bug in a minute. It should be solved in an hour or so…

What browser are you using? Which version, and which platform?

I’m not sure, I’ll check my error log tonight to see if I can find anything strange, and I’ll do some tests with the board. I’ll get back to you asap. Anyone else having this problem (besides johnnyboy and Sabotage) ?

Were you using some kind of strange characters in your post? I’ve tried all sorts of things with single/double quotes and all kinds of other characters but I wasn’t able to reproduce any syntax error messages. Could you send me the exact text of the error message you get when replying to a message? Cheers.

Just click on ‘My Profile’ at the top of the page, log in, and then add your custom signature to your profile. After you save the changes, you will have a signature at the bottom of your new posts.

Oh, and I’m working on the torch in ASP. Coming soon. :-)
