Re: Therapy In Ireland in Therapy? Live
As I said, T? are not playing in Dublin, but they will probably play in Belfast on May 1st and in Cork on May 2nd. Those dates are to be confirmed.

Re: Therapy In Ireland in Therapy? Live
I just got the new list of rescheduled tour dates which I will post today, and I’ve been informed that Therapy? will NOT play with the Wildhearts on April 30th in Dublin, so it looks like the info on the Hot Press web site is outdated.
PS: Jello, please don’t post multiple new threads if there are recent exisiting ones on the same subject, especially if you started those threads as well. Cheers :-)

Re: Therapy In Ireland in Therapy? Live
Here’s some good news for all you Irish fans out there, from T?’s manager:
“We do have 2 Irish shows which are to be confirmed ..in Belfast at The Mandela Hall on May 1st and Cork on May 2nd at Cypress Avenue. They are not totally set yet but looking very good…”
So, not confirmed yet, but hopefully they will be soon. More news as I get it.

Re: Therapy? in Moscow,Russia 3rd of April in Therapy? Live
Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but T?’s manager told me that “we are looking at doing 2 shows in Russia in early April”, so hopefully those will be confirmed for all you Russian fans out there! More news as I get it.

Re: Therapy? in Greece in February! in Therapy? Live
We don’t automatically censor swear words on these boards, as they are used in several ways/cirumstances which aren’t offensive to other members.
In this case I’m sure that some of the posts were not meant to be funny, which led me to delete them, including the replies which wouldn’t make sense without the original posts.

Re: Therapy? in Greece in February! in Therapy? Live
I’ve deleted the offensive messages from this thread. I can understand you’d all like to see T? live, but please remain friendly towards each other while discussing it. Thanks :-)

Re: de vooruit in Therapy? Live
Anyway, back to the topic of discussion: much has been said about this gig already, and I can only say it was absolutely brilliant indeed. This show was a very good example of why T? is the band with the best live shows around. Period.
Nice to meet you too, Alexandra, and very good to see Ronald, Mariska, Gideon, Niek, Gie, Betty + partner, Sam and the T? lads again and everyone else I forgot!

I’m sorry to hear about his broken bone, but it seems highly unlikely to me that I had something to do with that, as there was nothing wrong with him during the few songs I was in front and I didn’t go back there after the sixth or seventh song.
I always look out for other people while jumping around, but when there’s a large group of people doing the same thing (in a quite ‘civilised’ way at the Paradiso gig, by the way) you’re going to be pushed around a bit when you’re in front of the stage, which sadly always brings the risk of injury.

Re: Grazie Firenze in Therapy? Live
Allroy, I’d love to get your photos and put them up on the site! I’ve received several sets of photos from different shows of the current tour already, which will hopefully be online real soon.
Irishlady, I don’t know what I said that made WickedMan think this, but I’m guessing there was some miscommunication there, as I will definitely be putting photos of the current tour online!

URGENT: Belgian show in Vooruit is NOT a ‘late show’ in Therapy? Live
Title: URGENT: Belgian show in Vooruit is NOT a ‘late show’
Folks, contrary to reports in certain parts of the Belgian media, our Vooruit show is NOT a ‘late show’ as advertised. The doors will open at 9:30 pm and the band will start playing at 10:30 pm. Sorry for the confusion but we only got this new information today. Hopefully everyone will be able to amend travelling plans, etc. Sorry again but the matter really was out of our hands.
Rock on,
TPY? 2003

Ok, so you’ve been awake during the whole gig, but how much did you drink? ;-)

Re: Irish dates???? in Therapy? Live
I haven’t heard anything to indicate that there will be more shows added to this tour.

Cheers Stavros, I’ve added the link to the tour page. Welcome to the boards, and enjoy yourself at the gig! Only a little over a month to go…

Re: Amsterdam: Paradiso gig in Therapy? Live
Jack didn’t say much while we were there, it was mostly T? and me doing the talking. I talked to Jack after the gig and he seems like a cool guy. Maybe catch you at a Dutch gig sometime!

I don’t think there will be any more dates in December, but I’m not sure.

Re: Amsterdam: Paradiso gig in Therapy? Live
Yes, I saw them too… I was sitting at their table! :p
That’s why I was wondering if you meant the Palladium, as you said there was only one person with them you didn’t know. That means you were either so distracted by the band walking in that you didn’t see me and my girlfriend, or that we know each other. I’m guessing it’s the first? ;-)
They invited us over before the gig, which gave me a good opportunity to discuss a couple of new ideas for the site with them (and drink beer, heh heh).
The friend was not Diamond Dave indeed, his name is Jack.

Re: Amsterdam: Paradiso gig in Therapy? Live
Is the pub you are talking about the Palladium, by any chance? The ‘rockabily guy’ is a close friend of one the T? lads who joined the tour for a couple of days, Tuesday being the last day.

Re: Tilburg in Therapy? Live
Please keep this thread about the show in Tilburg, thanks.
I’m pretty surprised to see A Moment Of Clarity as the opener! It’s not what I would call starting off with a bang, so to speak. As for the atmosphere in 013, it’s never been very good for any show I’ve seen there to be honest, including the one time I saw Therapy? there, which is why I decided to skip this one.

Re: Amsterdam: Paradiso gig in Therapy? Live
Just a merged thread about the coming gig in Paradiso… ;-)
I think you’ll get a pretty good impression of what the setlist will be like based on the setlists posted in the threads about the last five shows, with the exception of maybe one or two new songs.
I won’t be making photos of the show tomorrow, but if you end up doing it yourself and want to share them with me to put them on the site, please do :-)

Re: Groningen in Therapy? Live
Although I hinted at it with my comment on the intro to A Moment Of Clarity, I forgot to mention that the sampler has returned. AMOC started with the intro as it’s on the album and the samples for Teethgrinder were also played!

Re: Groningen in Therapy? Live
The gig was quite good, but the vibe wasn’t really that great, mainly because of the fact that the venue was too big for the amount of people there (or there were too few people for the venue, whichever way you want to look at it!)
They played all poll winners, so no worries there :-)
Here’s the setlist:
Rust
If It Kills Me
Screamager
Dancin’ With Manson
My Voodoo Doll
Church Of Noise
I Am The Money
A Moment Of Clarity
Sister
Who Knows
Hey Satan - You Rock
Potato Junkie
Stop It You’re Killing Me
Nowhere
Knives
—
Nobody Here But Us
Die Laughing
Straight Life
Teethgrinder
The moments that stood out for me were Rust as the opening song, Dancin’ With Manson, Andy not being able to turn off the effect that wasn’t supposed to be turned on at the start of A Moment Of Clarity while getting more and more nervous because the intro was coming to an end ;-), Dancin’ With Manson, Potato Junkie going straight into Stop It You’re Killing Me, Dancin’ With Manson, and Teethgrinder (the first time I saw this with Neil).
Oh, did I mention Dancin’ With Manson?

I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but the promotor moved the Therapy? show in Rome back to the Black Out Rock Club, still on November 13th.

No, there weren’t any problems, I just needed to do a last check of the votes, to see if they were all valid. I wanted to make sure that there weren’t any attempts at cheating left in there as much as possible (this includes you allroy ;-)), in addition to the ‘anti-cheating’ measures already in place, especially since some of the songs are very close together in terms of the amount of votes.
RobbyVDH wrote:
[..] it’s impossible to please everyone of course
True, what is it they say again? You can only please 50% of the people, 50% of the time? Although I understand there will still be disppointed people, because they didn’t vote for any of the winning winners, I do hope that they had at least one of the winners as their fifth choice :-)
Let me tell you though, I was personally quite relieved to see that not all songs came from Troublegum and Infernal Love, but that they came from 4 different albums, with all due respect to the people who did strictly vote for songs off those two albums.
