I agree with Hellbelly here. It seems like you always react to posts with a feeling that people are against you. I just thought you’re initial post was weird to say the least, and I reacted to that, NOT because it was you. I still disagree with your statement that a band’s name and lyrics are related to eachother. That really doens’t make sense. Therapy and a questionmark a vision. Puhlease. Sure, a band name can make you curious about their music, but it doesn’t relate to their lyrics by definition at all. Also not ‘more often than not’, like you said. Before you accuse me of not reading again.

The remark that I should start reading your posts is stupid and cheap. I do read your posts, otherwise I couldn’t and wouldn’t react to them. Don’t act like we’re all too stupid to read. That pisses me off.

Oh, and ‘…change the name. you can always improve on the music later.’ LOL. That makes sense.

Your first statement in your original post says exactly that you can tell by a band’s name that their lyrics are going to suck. This doesn’t make sense AT ALL.

I don’t think you said that a band SHOULD HAVE a name of at least two words, but you DID say that their lyrics can’t be good if the name is only one word. Read your post yourself man.

The lyrics of the three bands I mentioned do not suck. So, I proved you wrong. I thought you were good in discussing stuff with valid arguments. This post of yours was just stupid, so I had to react. Listen te Hellbelly. He’s right you know…

A crowdsurfer once in a while who knows how to do it properly might be ok, but nobody seems to know how to do it!! Nobody holds their feet up, and they behave like idiots.

And then, stagediving… Every concert I go to there are a couple of idiots who decide to run on stage, take a big leap and jump FEET FIRST into the crowd… ARE THEY FUCKIN’ NUTS?!

I like jumping around at a gig, but there’s no reason to hurt other people who are enjoying the gig also. Some people seem to think that it’s ‘cool’ to beat up everyone around them. Well, not me.

Good point messiah. I am tolerating the ‘bad’ stuff going on here, because I don’t want to be some dictator or something else I have been thought to be when I started talking about passwords and other stuff like that (this is not a stab your way, it’s just a general comment). You’re exactly right in your remark about just ignoring ‘those’ people. All they want is attention and if they don’t get it, they’ll get bored eventually…

I’m also hoping Razorblade will be back soon. I got an e-mail from him a while ago, and he really liked the new message boards. His name is registered (by me, for him) and he would be back in August, so let’s hope he’ll return soon…

Great decision by Mojo. I hate crowdsurfers. I’m pretty tall myself also, and I was getting really tired and pissed off with all those idiots kicking me in the head. Let’s hope people will respect the new rule.

I have heard from him by the way, and he said he would be back on August 1st. I think he will return one of these days…

Title: No Updates

As you may have noticed, I have been almost invisible on the message board and nothing has been done with the rest of the site or the Netscape bugs in the board. Well, basically there are two reasons. Firstly there are some things going on in my life which need my attention right now (nothing too serious, but just time consuming). Secondly, I’ve been having some pain in my right arm lately, which is probably some form of RSI. Since I’m planning on using the arm the rest of my life, I’m trying to get some rest and therefore I’m not doing much computer work in my free time.

I hope to be back soon, and to make some updates to the site, and become an active participant on the board. It’s nice to see it’s getting a bit more crowded here, and I appreciate the comments you left for me in another thread in this forum. Take care.

BTW: Razorblade, where are you?

I know what the problem is guys. Let me guess, messiah uses Netscape. So I either got to fix a bug in the message board, or messiah has to start using a real browser. Hmmm. Ok, I’ll fix the bug tomorrow… Not because I like Netscape, but what can I say… I’m just a nice guy.

What’s with the attitude, johnnyboy? If he wants to write about Napster, he can write about Napster. And I will read it, and probably reply to it. I, for one, agree with Metallica suing Napster, for example. Something you probably don’t agree with. So, what’s your problem?

I’ve gotton mostly very positive reactions to the current structure of the boards, so I’m afraid it’s not that simple. Most people like the way it is now, including myself. Therefore it’s not really an option to make only two boards and completly abandon the current setup. The feature I mentioned above is another solution to the ‘problem’. So what do you say? Do you like the proposed feature with this in mind?

I know the way you feel about the e-mail notification thing. I have already thought about it after your reactions last time and it isn’t that big of a deal to me too. I’m just wondering what the rest of the people think of it.

I got an e-mail from Dermot, and it’s been fixed. He has registered the name Che Guevara… The person who registered it in the first place didn’t provide an e-mail address, and therefore never got a password for it. It couldn’t be used anyway…

Didn’t he respond to any of his e-mails you have sent him? This sucks quite a bit for you. Did he say he sent payment, and did it never arrive, or didn’t you hear anything from him at all?

I don’t know all the details of this story, but Piers… Come on man, if you still haven’t paid for the items, do it! This is not the way to treat people. But again, I don’t know what the details are of this situation.
