hmmm, what about the likes of keith moon and john bonham?
also ausome drummers i just forgot about then when i was typing. but the question i want to ask is are new age drummers e.g travis barker, chad smith and taylor hawkins classed as better drummers only “better” due to new technology allowing them to improve?

worst song on HA in General Therapy? Topics
Title: worst song on HA
personally i think that high anxiety was anausome albumn and has been the best stuff that the band have come it with os of late. but as with all good things there allways seems to be a negative point and to me this is the song “my voodoo doll” i dont think its all together a bad song but i dont think that it fits this albumn, also “watch you go” is a bit obscure i think but that to me is a better song.
what do all u think?
cheers

Re: female vocalists in Other Bands & Artists
Quote (author unknown):
[i]As far as Ozzy is concerned,I honestly think he was fair to most of his bandmates. He introduced Randy Rhoads (RIP) to the masses as he did with Zakk Wylde,Robert Trujillo,Randy Castillo (RIP) and Mike Inez. These musicians joined some of the greatest bands after becoming well-known in Ozzy’s band.
andy
PLEASE DUDE DONT GET ME WRONG I PERSONALLY THINK THAT OZZY IS AN AUSOME MUSCIAN THE ONLY REASON I REFFERED TO HIM ON THIS THREAD WAS THAT I SOMETIMES FEEL THAT DUE TO OZZYS LIFE LONG SUCCSESS IN MUSIC AND DUE TO THE OSBOURNES MTV SHOW THAT THE REST OF THE BAND ARE SOMEWHAT SHADOWED BY HIM. NOT THAT HE TRIES TO SHADOW THEM ITS JUST THAT SOME PEOPLE DONT TEND TO KNOW OF HIS BAND BUT JUST MENTION OZZY.

female vocalists in Other Bands & Artists
Title: female vocalists
does any one think that some bands who have female vocals are sometimes shadowed by them take the pop sorry rock singer avril lavighne for example she goes on about her band but truley she steals the fame from them.
its not allways female vocalists though ozzy osnourne i think has taken the lime light away from the band i think.
them again its just my opoinion.
cheers

Re: fuck pennywise in Other Bands & Artists
personally i think that pennywise are an ausome band i will admitt that they have produced some quite dodggy stuff especially fuck authority and depression but i think that a mjority of the rest is fucking ausome i really appriciate the fact that they are still playin after lossing jaon(R.I.P) but i think that pretty much all of thier songs are throughly inspired but its kind of an emotional inspiration.

Re: red hot chili peppers in Other Bands & Artists
Best drummers ever ?
Jimmy Chamberlin
Danny Carey
Steve White
Travis Barker
Graham Hopkins[/quote]
All good drummers but what about the REAL GODs drummers like
cosy powell
steve gadd
and
stewart copeland
these are the guys that really inspired people especially travis barker (who without a shadow of a doubt is a fuckin amazin drummer)to play.
oh and in guessing uve never seen the audition video chad made for the chillis and i agree in his songss he doesnt try and do anything spectacualr but thats jsut the way he is but trust me he is one hell of a drummer, i dont know have the video anymore but u might be able to download it of kazza

Re: sonic youth & nofx in Other Bands & Artists
theres one thing that really bugs me about nofx a while ago fat mike said that they would never release any of their old vinal stuff back on cd and if u look at thier albumn 45/46 songs… they have re-released fuck the kids and sufer, and it makes me start thonk that they might be running low on steam and are having to go against their word just to make money it might just be me, but i think its strange.
they have released some good songs though dinosaurs must die ausome.

Re: The new Bad Religion album in Other Bands & Artists
i think there new album is ausome but personally i prefer stranger then fiction infected what a song , but deffinatley the new album rocks personal favorite would have to be supersonic or kyoto now.
i must addmitt hough i prefer bands like pennywise, rancid, minor threat and t.s.o.l to bad religion but still an ausome band.

audio lave or rage in Other Bands & Artists
Title: audio lave or rage
hey personally i think that rage against the machine are by far the better band, their music seems to have so much more energy and emotion to it, also zacks voice fits in so much better to the bands music then chris cornells does in the new audioslave stuff. maybe its just due to me listening to rage for so many years but i think that pretty much all the audioslave songs sound like old rage riffs and licks which are jsut played in different places or slightly changed.
i know some of you will disagree but rage rule and i curse the day they ever split.
