i am sure there are loads but that thursday is annoying me. there must be at least one. and tuesday and wednesday are difficult too.

went to reading this last weekend and had possibly the worst weekend of my life. :(

love the first two albums. saw them a few times around 2000 and they were ace.

a friend of mine interviewed anderson for our uni paper circa 2002 and, well let’s just say kids, there is sometimes a very good reason why you should not meet your heroes.

i see feeder have blagged another mid afternoon set at Reading again this year. feeder are like an old pair of slippers.

there is some logic tucked away in there somewhere.

all manics albums sound completely different from one another, yet at the same time they all sound like no other band but the manics.

damn it, look at me with all my spelling mistakes. i shall blame this squarely on my hangover.

but yes, i agree that exciter was awful. wo good songs? i think tha is stretching it a bit. :)

@ deadsetgav - hmmm, i’m, not sure that i agree with that. electricity is pretty good but the other singles… well they were just rubbish.. and the rest of the album is even worse. other than crack in the union jack. avoid.

@ kill_hill - i really liked deviant. it was only when they did PSI that they turned me off.

another one i just thought of is head music by suede. a terrible terrible album. i was such a fan boy back in the day. i got it the day it came out (this is before mp3’s were freely available kids) and after listening to it thought “well that was a fucking waste of time”. oh the days…

but it just goes on forever live. i like the song, but not live. it just lasts too long. and occasionally acoustic, crikey.

worst single is let robeson sing by a mile. i actually hate that song. everything about it. even the video.

i saw The Cure at wembley last night. it was quite possibly the best gig i have ever been to. and yay, go bob smith for breaking the wembley curfew. i had to spend the night at kings cross because of him. but it was worth it.

that line up so far looks absolutely appalling. still, at least it means we might get some good stuff for Reading.

guinness in my local is a staggering £2.90, i think the more drinkable of lagers are around the same. this is the price you have to pay for living in cambridge. as well as having to, er, live in cambridge.
