this david blaine thing, it must be impossible. it’s so farfetched that even when he does succeed (which inevitably, he will) no one will still believe he did it. i don’t know how he does these things. and frankly i don’t care. why in a box over the thames? just lock him in a cell, give him a water tap, a toilet and then see what he’s like after 44 days.

Re: Freddy Vs Jason in Chit-Chat
the main fault is that, going into the film and judging by both of the main characters previous films, basically both of them can never “die”. out of the 18 or so films in jason and freddies past, the only good one out of them all is the first nightmare on elm street. sad but true. and that was probably about twenty years ago!

Re: Freddy Vs Jason in Chit-Chat
i went to see this film expecting horror, some of which was present but it was funny more than anything. not “ha-ha” but funny as in how badly it was presented. but i’d say it was worth seeing though, if only for “novelty” value.

So about the Astoria Gig - its on suicidepact as the 26th of Nov. and on ticketmaster as the 25th. Any idea when this will be officially confirmed as I wanna book a flight from Ireland on the cheap and then take in Machine Head the next night (I hope)
the wayahead ticket box office has it listed for the 25th

yeah, that’s true completely! he’s a really bad actor. either he’s on the pull - cue completely confused expression - or he’s shooting people in the head, cue same expression.

funeral songs in Chit-Chat
Title: funeral songs
now now, it doesn’t have to be morbid. if you died tomorrow what 3 songs would you want played at the funeral service?
i’ll start (in order from the beginning of the funeral until the end)
1. welcome to the jungle - guns n roses
2. stay together - suede
3. you love us - manic street preachers
i mean, give ‘em a good time at least :)

Re: Worst actor ever? in Chit-Chat
the worst actor ever has to be the guy who plays martin fowler in eastenders. his reaction is the same in any situation he is faced with. and also he has no continuity at all in his storylines. probably the writers fault more than his but still.
