Re: The Cure, anyone?… in Other Bands & Artists
opalmatra: boy’s don’t cry was an appalling album! 17 seconds was okay, and as previously stated i don’t know why everyone likes disintegration. but each to their own i suppose. thanks for the reply

Re: The Cure, anyone?… in Other Bands & Artists
Wish is a good album. He he he, yes Hooch, Wild Mood Swings was awful. It was a good idea for you not to listen to it. I don’t know what they were thinking with that one. Bloodflowers (the most recent album, 2001) was good though. Anyway, my fave 5 Cure albums are:
1. Pornography
2. The Top
3. Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me
4. Wish
5. Bloodflowers
I know anyone who likes The Cure is meant to like Disintegration but i don’t rate that one too highly.

The Cure, anyone?… in Other Bands & Artists
Title: The Cure, anyone?…
Myself being a long time fan of The Cure, I thought that seeing as they have had a bit of press recently (well, bear in mind, it is The Cure, so not really much press, a few mentions in a couple of shady music papers) I would ask what other people think of them? Be nice please..

Re: What advice do you have for someone in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
i have been playing the guitar for about 7 years now and still find it impossible to tune without the aid of a tuner.

Re: Richey manic found? in Chit-Chat
yeah, that one about the feet found on the severn was the best. apparently the way they concluded it wasn’t him was because the trainers the feet were encased in were not available at the time of his disappearance. (by the way, this is not a joke, i happen to know slightly too much about the manics and for that i apologise in advance)

Re: Therapy? Live in Cambridge - 30 July in Therapy? Live
as a resident of cambridge i find anything like this rather unlikely. i’m going to go of course. but (if anyone knows the man on the moon) it’s really small and, to be honest, a bit poo. but don’t listen to me, anyone who wants to go i plead you to come. it’d be great to see them live (not that they’ll play live). this is kind of shocking to me. but great news nonetheless.

Re: 28 Days Later in Chit-Chat
i thought this film was very good. if it was set in america it would’ve been just another zombie flick but as it’s set in london (the underground being familiar territory to me), it made it better for myself. i’m so sad i actually watched all the making of it and all that stuff on the dvd and some of the early shots (when london is deserted) were really cool. this is just my opinion bu i think this film is fantastic.

Re: female vocalists in Other Bands & Artists
it’s the same with garbage. i’m not a huge garbage fan, nothing against them but a lot of the limelight was on shirley manson. admittedly when you have butch vig in your band it’s gonna get noticed. the other two guys kind of miss out a bit. but they probably like that anyway.
xxx
i assume garbage do still exist… i only use “was” in the past tense as i haven’t heard anything by them for years.

Re: Does anyone else think Matrix is overrated? in Chit-Chat
don’t get me wrong, i thought the first film was okay but i didn’t think it was anywhere near as good as it’s been made out to be. with these other two coming out i think it’s bollocks. i will not be seeing them on principle. i’m not some kind of culture fascist either before i am accused of it. i just think it’s all a huge cash in. and that, to me at least, sucks. anyone who likes the films, i’m glad. enjoy yourselfs. take care :)

Title: naive and ugly…
hi, i just joined. i’ve been using the site for a while now but only just registered, anyway, erm, i’m kinda stuck for what to say. my fav T? album would be infernal love followed by suicide pact. i saw them last thursday at the mean fiddler (LA2) in london and, as usual, they rocked. anyway, be nice to me. i am so frail xxx :)
