Re: Therapy? in Dortmund in Therapy? Live

I couldn’t make it, unfortunately, but you already have an interview and andy doing an acoustic version of screamager on the Rockpalast website:

Oh, and I finally managed to take a picture of the fifth Beatle during the set.

Re: Underground, Cologne 12.08.2010 in Therapy? Live

Yep, excellent gig. I liked their quotations, not just the usual Nowhere Man, but also Van Morrison’s Gloria and BÖC’s Don’t Fear The Reaper in the middle of Diane and, of course, the Peanut song, very unique indeed.
And also nice to be able to buy a Punk Floyd shirt.

Greetings to Robby and Roxy (first I thought you weren’t there but Roxy’s hellbelly explained it all) and Angela plus company.

Maybe there’s another German tour in November as on last.fm they’ve announced a gig in Munich for November 11.

The Unwinding Hours - The Unwinding Hours

It’s former Aereogramme members sounding like Aereogramme, i.e. absolutely awesome.

Re: Düsseldorf - Zakk 28.11.2009 in Therapy? Live

What a hell of a show. It’s been the best T? gig I’ve seen for years, no kiddin.

The setlist was something like this (not in the correct order in the middle):
Isolation
Turn
Sister
Screamager
Enjoy The Struggle
Clowns Galore
Rain Hits Concrete
Die Like A Motherfucker
Lonely, Cryin’ Only
I Am The Money
Opal Mantra
Innocent X
Teethgrinder
Potato Junkie (with something like an Irish traditional as an intro)
Exiles
Crooked Timber
Bad Excuse For Daylight
Rust
—————
Die Laughing
Diane
Nowhere

And it was also nice meeting soul doubt and this crazy couple you can’t avoid at T? concerts. :-D

The Pixies at the Olympia in Dublin last night for the 20th anniversary of Doolittle.
Started with Manta Ray and some other great B-Sides , then the Doolittle album as a whole.
Absolutely brilliant gig , enjoyed it big time , they sound exactly the same as 20 years ago.
Joey Santiago is just so good and Kim still has the voice , although she has put on quite some weight the last couple of years it has to be said.

Pixies in Frankfurt last night, also brilliant. Excellent sound, excellent visuals, very relaxed band and some crappy pics

I’ve seen the gutter twins a couple of times. Their acoustic tour was nowhere near as good as the full band tour, and the album is superb.

I was speaking to a guy last night that books bands for Oran Mor in Glasgow, and Soulsavers are touring in August. Don’t know if tour dates have been announced yet, but anything that Mark Lanegan is involved with is usually quite good, so think i’ll be checking them out too.

Soulsavers will play three shows in the UK in august:
Manchester Ruby Lounge (August 24)
Glasgow Oran Mor (25)
London Garage (27)

I preferred the Gutter Twins’ acoustic tour to the full band shows but you’re absolutely right: Mark Lanegan is always ace.

Definitely Düsseldorf and most probably Aachen.
But with some days off at the beginning of November Stuttgart, Konstanz and maybe an Italian date is in the planning.

Morrissey in Cologne last Thursday, good show with more shirt changes than Madonna or Take That.

Re: Make a muxtape in Other Bands & Artists

Muxtape is still there but now it’s a platform for band to present their music while spotify is…urrm…a kind of platform to present music.
As far as I understand spotify it’s an online music library you can freely access as music is only streamed and not for download.
So nobody needs muxtape as there are already music platforms like last.fm or even myspace.
