Definately looking forward to the new Sepultura album, and did anyone else hear of a new Tool album this year? That would be fantastic!!

Re: Kerbdog in Other Bands & Artists

Saw Kerbdog last night in the Temple Bar Music Centre, last time i saw them was supporting T? in the SFX in 1993, and i have to say they were class! Great to hear songs like End of Green, sally, jj’s song, and dry riser again, total nostalgia, but they were on top form, great sound too, seriously, i’d love to see these guys get back together…

Re: the albums in stock! in General Therapy? Topics

I also got it today, in tower records Dublin, and i have to say that most of this album rocks like a bastard!! All the T? elements are there, the rockin’ riffs, the melodies (long distance particularly), and it’s good to hear Michael’s bass sounding so good. Very happy with it…

Re: Listen to 3 songs from NANE in General Therapy? Topics

This is a welcome surprise, didn’t expect those tracks to sound like they do, and like everyone can’t wait for the album to come out now. Think i like this ship is sinking best so far, some very fyfe-like drumming from mr.cooper there, rise up is also class

Re: The Twilight Singers in Other Bands & Artists

yeah also really looking forward to seeing them on friday, i got a copy of blackberry belle yesterday and it sounds pretty damn good to my ears, perhaps not as good as say gentlemen or black love by the whigs but dulli is a great songwriter and he’s proved that again with the twilight singers.

Re: 2003 in Other Bands & Artists

Here’s a list of probably my ten favourite albums of the year, in no particular order…

1. Therapy? - high anxiety
2. Sepultura - roorback
3. The mars volta - de-loused in the comatorium
4. Killing joke - killing joke
5. Machine head - through the ashes of empires
6. the cardigans - long gone before daylight
7. elbow - cast of thousands
8. ed harcourt - from every sphere
9. tom mcrae - just like blood
10. mew - frengers

favourite gig, too many, but therapy? at the village in Dublin probably just shades it…

Re: Machine Head Through The Ashes Of Empires in Other Bands & Artists

Yeah went out and bought it after seeing them in the ambassador in dublin on halloween night. Fuckin’ brilliant gig, and indeed i would agree “through the ashes..” is a fine album, good songs and very heavy…best metal album i’ve heard all year!

Re: DVD In Ireland in General Therapy? Topics

i managed to get scopophobia in HMV on henry street today, it was the only copy there, but if anyone’s finding it hard to get maybe try there…it was worth the wait though, the gig rocks and the tour diary is pretty good also!

Re: Ok which 90’s rock band… in Other Bands & Artists

as far as i know stone temple pilots have indeed split up, scott weiland is now a member of velvet revolver with most of the members from guns’n’roses…shame that though, STP were one of my favourite bands from the 90’s.

Elliott Smith in Other Bands & Artists

Title: Elliott Smith

I don’t know if many people on these boards have heard of, or enjoy the music of elliott smith, i know i certainly enjoy listening to him…according to his website and other music websites he died yesterday aged 34…another sad loss for music.

any fans here?

B-Sides in General Therapy? Topics

Title: B-Sides

I was just trying to put together a t? b-side cd for myself, and was wondering what were peoples favourite t? b-sides or covers, i think listening to them stuff like pantapon rose from the nowhere single and our love must die are pretty cool, as well as evil elvis obviously…anyone have any favourites?

Re: Tour Poll - Part 2 in Therapy? Live

I agree where’s evil elvis, i voted for it last time aswell, i’ve still never heard them play it live!

Anyway here’s my choice:
1: Skyward
2: Stop it you’re killing me
3: Unbeliver
4: Nausea

Anyone know of any news on a dublin gig by the way?

Re: Primus in Other Bands & Artists

Also check out les claypools other bands, all pretty much like primus, but almost as good, sausage is a great album, the frog brigade, oysterhead, and also les claypools’ solo album purple onion…check them all out, the man is a bass playing genius…by the way has anyone ever seen them live anywhere?

Re: sepultura in Other Bands & Artists

yeah, their new album roorback is well worth checking out, perhaps not as good as roots or chaos AD but it is good, and their new(ish) singer derrick green is not half bad either, having seen them live now he is actually a pretty good front man, shame i never saw them with max cavelera though!

Re: sepultura in Other Bands & Artists

Well i was also at all three of those gigs, fu manchu were also brilliant, and that band before them, span, were also pretty good..did u see graham hopkins looking down from the balcany at fu manchu?

sepultura in Other Bands & Artists

Title: sepultura

This may not be most people’s cup of tea, but i went to see sepultura in TBMC in dublin last friday, and i thought they were absolutely brilliant..probably the best live drumming i’ve seen in a long time, well since seeing T? the night before…anyone else see sepultura?

Re: Graham Hopkins new band Halite in Other Bands & Artists

graham’s new band may not rock as much much as T?, but he obviously still has a soft spot for all things rockin’ cos i saw him at the fu manchu gig in the village on saturday and of course he was there on thursday for T?, good luck to him with Halite though i still haven’t heard them yet…

Re: Hello There in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

hows it going bad karma, i guess my fav T? album would be the obvious choice of troublegum, following that possibly semi detached it’s definately gotten better over the years, and then i guess nurse, i still love that album.

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

does anyone else who got st anger think that the dvd with it is far better than the album itself, the sound is better, lars dosen’t sound like he’s hitting a piece of tin instead of a snare like he does on the album, and robert trujillo is the man! Was just a like disappointed hearing the album but then the dvd kind of made up for it.

Hello There in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Title: Hello There

Hello all, i will going by the name of migraneboy, thought it was about time i signed up to this message board thing, therapy? have been my favourite band for about ten years or so now, the first gig i went to was to see T? play the SFX in dublin back in 1993 and well i’ve been hooked ever since. The Dublin gig last night was the 6th time i’ve seen them live.

Posted on Fri, 6 June 2003 at 11:11

Re: Your thoughts on Dublin gig? in Therapy? Live

I thought the gig in dublin last night was the best i’ve seen T? in a while, and can’t wait to see them come back later in the year hopefully! and nice to hear andy saying he was doped off his head!
managed to get the set list, so here it is,

Hey satan you rock
who knows
nowhere
nobody here but us
church of noise
i am the money
stories
not in any name
if it kills me
die laughing
voodoo doll
ten year plan
trigger inside
potato junkie

diane
rust
stand in line
knives
screamager

absolutely fan-fuckin’tastic, cheers guys!
