I didn’t make the show after all… and I’m really upset over it. I’m also surprised that they played mostly songs from their early years. Hopefully this exposure will get them back to Canada sometime soon.

How many people were at the show? Was it tough to get into. That’s actually one reason why I didn’t make the trip from Ottawa to Toronto. With the NXNE festival, usually only a handful of people get into the clubs without the full festival pass. And with the El Mo being one of the most popular clubs, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get in.

The only stranger fact that T? are playing in Toronto is the fact that I find out only the day before… now if only I can make it there in time.

If you search Easytorrent.com for Therapy?, you’ll find the 1994 Donnington show, and the Brixton MTV show from that year is added at the end as a bonus.

My favourite is Totally Random Man, which also happens to be one of my overall fave T? songs. It’s just really powerful, and I love the buzzsaw guitar riffs. It really needs to be brought back to the live show in my opinion.

The band has actually played the older stuff quite a lot. There’s not much worthwhile from the old days that T? hasn’t played repeatedly.

I can never understand why they only played songs like Opal Mantra, Don’t Expect Roses and Gimme Back My Brain only a handful of times.

Scopophobia will not work on regular North American DVD players. Therapy?’s DVD is a PAL DVD, and so will not work on regular North American NTSC systems. It is regionally encoded. However, some DVD players in North America don’t have regional encoding, and the DVD will work on those players. If you have a region 0 player, then you’re in luck. It’s mostly the cheap DVD players that don’t have regional encoding.

Hey there,

I’m wondering if anyone has any DVDs for trade. I can make copies of this year’s shows from Sheffield and Manchester, and I also have shows of Bizarre 1998 and Dublin Red Box 1997, which features different lyrics for Church Of Noise and Tightrope Walker.

If I’m not mistaken, I remember seeing on the site that the MVD “promo” was just a CDR, so I don’t think that it should count.

Region codes fucking suck! But Scopophobia does not work on my NTSC DVD player… It’s easy to go around on a computer DVD-ROM however. Also, many of the cheap DVD players available at Future Shop and Best Buy are region-free. Just look at the Nova and Daytek brands. They aren’t recognized names, but they play everything. Even wma, wmv, mpeg, jpeg, DVD-/+…

They’re not very rare. Try asking people around the board.

By the way… the instrumental at the end is “Rust”, but it’s only a 1 minute instrumental. I downloaded the show yesterday, and I must say that the quality is quite good. For anyone who isn’t downloading torrent files, I’d suggest that you get into it. It’s become the easiest way to download shows, and pretty much anything else. Anyhow, for those who want to save themselves some trouble, I’d be glad to arrange something for a trade.
