Refused to do reunion tour 2012! in Other Bands & Artists

Swedish hardcore/punk-legends “Refused” to do a few reunion-dates this year!
Many bands including Neil Cooper mentioning them and their album “The Shape Of Punk To Come…” as one of the most important bands in harder “rock school”…To get in the right mood please check:

I just put up a nice little “Refused”-nostalgia, “Pump The Brakes” - Live 1996, Enjoy:

Fyfe on drums, that´s brilliant news!
Makes you think of the good old Therapy?-days…Fyfe used to sing on “Teethgrinder” and drum at the same time.

Levellers - Brixton Academy 19 March 2011 in Other Bands & Artists

Excellent concert!

Band: The Levellers (The Folkrockers from Brighton, England)
Source / Venue: London, England, O2 Brixton Academy (MASTER)
Date: Saturday 19th March 2011
Audio: High Definition 24 Bit / 48 KHZ and High Quality MP3 (320 Kbps)
Size: 671 MB (High Definition 24 Bit-version) / 208.1 MB (Mp3)
Note: Brightons finest folkrockers celebrating their 20th anniversary since releasing the classic album “Levelling the land” (from 1991). My masterrecording turned out great, had a great recordingspot up on the balchony. O2 Brixton Academy is a very nice venue with all of the best bands releasing official Live CD / DVD:s over the years. Supportband this evening were the excellent “The Wonder Stuff”, and they played all their classics including the big hit “Size Of A Cow”…I did not have enough memory to record them though! Enjoy the Levellers! PS. This recording sounds best on ordinary stereo-speakers or in your headphones! ~ “Levelling the Brixton Academy 2011” ~

I think The Netherlands won’t be happy either with their support act :)

LOL :-)

Souldoubt…I know you´re right, but I quite like those cheesy bands / artists…I also think in terms from a promoter/managers point of view…bring on a supportband with a slighlty different style of music…then T? will smash and smack our ears he-he ;-)

Feel free to add your own choices! :-)

Re: Therapy? for Sauna Festival 2011?? in Therapy? Live

yes, the shamelesstour almost seemed like yesterday. they did Stockholm, Oerebro, Helsingborg in Sweden, all recorded+P3 Live broadcast from Stockholm (only 3 songs missing in the broadcast to what was actually played)
These days P3 Live only broadcast 30 minutes instead of 60 minutes like before…sad :-(

Finland is really amazing when it comes to festivals:
1) So many good quality festivals
2) One of the oldest festivals in europe - Ruisrock = the original festival
3) All finish rockfestivals seems to have the great finish band “Mokoma” on the bill = That´s a great thing! :-)
4) Always very nice locations / venues…the beach and Ferry´s passing by in Turkku.
5) Nice atmosphere
6) The rock´n roll is in the veins…
7) Geography…Both scandinavian + balticum + russian neighbours can easily attend the finish festivals…
8) The sun stays up long in the summer…
9) Best festivalmemory from finland: “Eläkeläiset” (Gives the coverband-perspective it well earned credit!) Humppa!

Therapy? for Sauna Festival 2011?? in Therapy? Live

Ozzy Osbourne and Cavalera Conspiracy confirmed so far for Sauna Festival…9-11 June 2011 in Tampere, Finland.

Wouldn´t be surprised if T? will play aswell. They have played the city before.

Re: hows about a bsides album in General Therapy? Topics

Great idea!
I actually maid a compilation of all of my T?-singles that I own, and it´s b-sides a couple of years back, and it covered 3 CD:s in total, with the latest two albums (OFCA, if you include the “Rain Hits…Editversion” and Crooked Timber) b-sides fitting on the 3rd disc I´ll assume.
To be honest, I already bought all of the CD-singles once, why buy the same thing twice?

Actually a lot more nice idea with Alan´s list of “unreleased songs” compiled on a 10 CD-Boxset with all unreleased “studio/sessions”/rare livetakes/demos” -songs…(but please no remixes, even though loved the last remixes alot)!
Put even all the small pieces of instrumentalsongs that never made it…onto the 10-CD-box ;-)

Well, one can hope and dream :-)
