I’ve been away give or take a year or 2 and it doesn’t seem I missed anything.

Re: HI. Can anyone help me out? in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade

yep, if owning 5 copies of Troublegum isn’t a problem a boxset won’t be an issue either

Re: I just bought… in Other Bands & Artists

A second copy of Fukd ID#3 by Interpol because it was only 30 pounds
I’m gonna sell it for 150 when the new record comes out :D

Re: MGMT… What an experience.. Listen yourself :) in Other Bands & Artists

Yeah, that was my first encounter with MGMT
I thought at first that was really them and in a way I would have preferred it if it was really them.

It’s a cheap ass video but it kinda fits better to that kind of music.

Dragons (for people who love Joy Division and good music in general) in Other Bands & Artists

Fairly unknown band from England fronted by Anthony Tombling Jr famous from other bands from the past.
They are reminiscent to JD, Killing Joke and sometimes Depeche Mode so check them out if you like that kind of music

Re: Setlist for Cologne 22-12-07! in Therapy? Live

If I was sure they could play a full setlist and not just a support band setlist I would be there before you could say underachieving Belgian asshole but now…

meh, I don’t know

Re: BEST Therapy? Album ? in General Therapy? Topics

Well, we haven’t had such a poll before so first of all, great idea. I voted for the album that holds my favourite song of theirs, Disgracelands so I voted for Nurse although there are other albums that are better as a whole.

Re: New Interpol in Other Bands & Artists

I prefer TOTBL when I’m in the right mood for it but I can listen to Antics any time I want to and when it’s really appropriate to listen to that album I almost get aggressive listening to Not Even Jail. That song has so much power in it but it’s sung with to much integrity that it almost aches to listen to it.

Re: The Ark in Other Bands & Artists

He isn’t? :o
So he’s the exact opposite of Kele Okoreke who is gay but makes very powerful and straight forward music.

Ah well, I think it doesn’t really matter, I’m not as fond of the new album as I was/am about the previous ones.

Re: Songs that bring back memories in Other Bands & Artists

Dakota by The Stereophonics always takes me back to the summer of 2002. So does Last Summer by Lostprophets.

Re: The Ark in Other Bands & Artists

Maybe it was too glam and maybe too seventies over all but the new one is too look at me, I’m gay and proud of it. I think it’s more gay than both Scissor Sisters albums put together.

Re: The Ark in Other Bands & Artists

I think State Of The Ark was a great album. Not as good as In Lust We Trust but way better than the new one. On the new one there’s something ripped in every song. I’ve recgnised the Grease theme amongst others.

No, this surely isn’t their best effort to date.

Will a re-worked version or an acoustic version do the trick for you?

Re: Muse in Other Bands & Artists

I was at the Antwerp gig as well and it even blew every THERAPY? performance I’ve seen last year away. I was already impressed by them at the Werchter festival but Antwerp was sheer perfection. Everything was just right: the setting, the setlist, part of the crowd (not too quiet not too enthousiastic) and the band played everything just perfect but still not exactly as on the albums.

Too bad they didn’t play my favourite song of the CD after Starlight, Map Of The Problematique, Knights Of Cydonia and Invincible: Exo-politics.

I can safely say that I will go and see them every time they come to Belgium from now on.

Re: Your albums of this year (2006) in Other Bands & Artists

Could be but they are set to make a big return in 2007 (or 2008).

I recently bought their live album they recorded in Islington in 2005.

Well, I got my copy in 2005 but the European release was in 2006. Yeah, their fifth album should be awesome.
This year should be great for shoegazing with new albums from Biffy Clyro, Oceansize and My Vitriol on their way.
