Re: Where did T? go “wrong”? in General Therapy? Topics

Only problem that might arise from Therapy? lack of chart success over the last 7 years is that they might one day leave (or get dropped) from one label to many and decide to call it a day. I go and see them everytime I get the chance because you never know when it will be the last time. I like the fact that they don’t play huge stadiums and shit, I went to see T? at the camden underworld last year i think, and the next night I went and saw Smashing Pumpkins farewell gig at Wembley Arena. There was not a doubt in my mind as to which atmosphere i preferred, grotty little basement with sweat dripping off the ceiling and NO SECURITY! compared to a seat miles away from the action sitting next to a twelve year old in a slipknot t-shirt with their embarrassed mum sitting next to them screaming “I love you Billy”. Surrounded all the while of course by so much security that even president bush would feel like he’d over done it even on a state visit to Syria.

People like us will keep going to their shows, keep buying the CD’s and we put shirts on T?’s backs and absinthe in their cupboards. I think we’re all they need and we’ll keep supporting them for as long as they go on. I would never want to see them fade out like so many of my other fave bands, RIP Groop Dogdrill, RIP Orange Can, RIP Crashland, RIP Dark Star, RIP R.A.T.M., RIP Soundgarden…

Re: How do I get the girl I love back?????? in Chit-Chat

it’s not the amount of women it’s just that the last one was the closest i’d known, for like sixteen years i knew hers since we were six. she took me for my money, everything i had. thats why i’m so fucking bitter mate. that’s why i’ve got this attitude.

Re: a quick question in Other Bands & Artists

i found shit loads of great bands by turning up to gigs and seeing band i didn’t know, specialy when they’re support acts to tha band you actually wanted to see, like Dark Star, Tenner, Orange Can, Crashland… all of which are now dropped, broken up or playing weddings and christenings somewhere in sidcup. but at least those four i would generaly consider some of my fave bands ever, (‘cept tenner who only released four songs) still…
