Re: Just 1 song that sums up therapy for you in General Therapy? Topics
Bad Mother - positive attitude?
Let’s review the first verse shall we?
It’s a beautiful day
But I don’t see it that way.
The sky’s too bright
For my tired eyes to take
And I wish I was home
I’m edgy cramped and cold
Trying to keep down
The things that you keep wanting to go on.
Yeah, that’s as positive as you can get!

Re: The other albums in General Therapy? Topics
Infernal Love.
I admit that in “all-time classic” stakes, Troublegum is right up there, and its certainly the album I’d play to someone who hadn’t heard them before.
But Infernal will always be the one for me!

Re: Best Recent THERAPY? album in General Therapy? Topics
The best track on Shameless is Wicked Man, if only for the brilliant lyrics.
I e-mailed an ex-girlfriend with the lyrics from the song as an apology for previous indiscretions…
…worked a treat ;)

Gotta go for:
Straight Life
It’s the best riff, Andy is in fuckin’ great voice, and the drums are mind blowing - and those lyrics!
In fact, anyone noticed that though musically, Semi-Detached is not the best T? album, lyrically its truly amazing - pretty damn poetic.

Re: I’ve heard a Rumour in Therapy? Live
There may be better songs on the album, but releasing a single is something a band does to promote itself - get their name, AND music, heard by more people.
What’s the point of releasing Hey Satan? The sort of people who would like it already have the album. ANd it wont get played by radio and TV.
Whereas, if they release “Nobody here but us” it’ll be all over MTV (if the record company promote it properly - on which subject, can anyone tell me why THE FUCK “If it kills me” was never a track on Kerrang! TV?)
“Nobody here but us” has the potential to sell a shedload, get loads of airplay, AND pick up new fans.
