Re: Guitar pit trap in General Therapy? Topics
Hard choice, I’ll try to limit it to my own very favourites.
So, in no particular order:
Angus Young
Buck Dharma
Alex Lifeson

Once I promised you a good bottle of red wine from France, time to keep my promise has come… now all you should do is to get in touch. It won’t heal you, but it won’t make you feel worst no more :D
Get well soon, Martin!

Re: Martin is here in General Therapy? Topics
Hi Martin,
health is the most precious thing we own, so don’t be in hurry and let your ear heal completely before coming back…
We’ll patiently wait for you.
Meanwhile if you’re bored come around and say hello…
There’s a lot of nice people to talk to in the WoM! ;)
Take care man,
Phantom

Re: The DVD is great! in General Therapy? Topics
Title: YES!
I finally received my copy yesterday. Many thanks to nice guys and his hint about emailing play.com!
btw, I spent the night watching it (using headphones - I also have to meet the WAF) and I found it very good.
I agree about the poor live feeling of the first two or three songs (most of all cause Andy’s voice lack of ‘echo’) and I wonder if they made some studio overdubbing to correct problems in the live recording… who knows if we’ll have the thing explained some day…
Anyway, the gig is great but too short. I’ve felt some songs are missing, like Misery or more tracks from SP-YF (Jam Jar Jail?). Honestly, I thing that if T? made a setlist with only my own favourite songs, a concert could last 6 hours or more… and I care fore their health :p
Great videos! I only saw once (and recorded) Diane’s one on MTV, so it was very funny to discover how they look in the past ones (Father McKeegan in shorts!).
Favourite video: don’t know yet, but I think Nowhere won’t be part of the list :D
The ‘backstage bonus’ is GREAT!
Just one thing: I know some of the wommers are here and there on the DVD and, as I’m quite new on the WoM, I’d love to know who is on it and where just to put a face on a (nick)name. Can someone make a list (with section and time and/or comments) of the WoM Special Guests?
Time to go now… see you soon…
I fucking love you! :D

@hooch: Now I understand! my questionheart is at the top of my left arm and, as everybody knows, left arms are less pain sensitive than right ones… :D
Of course, my love for T? was not the only reason that made me choose the questionheart for my tattoo back in ‘96, and I still don’t know the exact meaning of the questionheart for T? themselves… I’ve my own meaning ( something to do with a long relationship broken up by 1500Km distance… ctrlaltdel, you know what I mean ;) ) and I’m happy of this “double link” with both my own feelings and one of my favourite bands. That is, life and music melt once again, as usually happens in my life.

Re: DVD delay in General Therapy? Topics
Thank you for the hint. I’ve been loosing my time in french DVD stores for days. In the end someone told me that I have to wait two more weeks and pay 29 Euros for it, since it’s an imported item!
I ordered it today on play.com, price £14 (20 Euros) and it “usually ships in 24h”…
I just can’t wait :)

Re: well I just got my first tattoo in General Therapy? Topics
@ctrlaltdelete: welcome to the Club! I have the same and I think I can easily guess the meaning it has for you… I was in more or less the same situation when I had my T? heart ;)
@hooch: Where do you have your gemil tattoo? ‘Cause the amount of pain you feel depends on skin thickness. Anyway, if you want a great and painless tattoo, either you have a “henné” one or you get fucking drunk before. More, if you fall asleep, you won’t move and the result will only be better :D
I don’t have another one myself just because I can’t decide the subject yet… any suggestions?

The “journalist” is no more in the Pitchfork staff (you can check it on the website).
He was fired the day after this review.
At least, I hope so :D

Re: The DVD is great! in General Therapy? Topics
I think it’s a little too late for an official VHS…
Fabio, is there any other good reason than Scopophobia to buy a DVD player?
Seriously, you should anyway buy it. Then find a good friend with a DVD player or PS2, bring on a case of beer and play it loud all day long.
And once you’ll have your own player, this will surely be the “break in disc”!
Ciao,
P

Is France in the northern Europe?
Anyway, I’ll check on websites like Amazon. I can’t wait…

No, this must be some kind of “standard reply”.
I had more or less the same one about “Rush - Live in Rio” DVD, to be issued originally on august an delaied for Europe to late November…
