Re: the worst concert you’ve ever been at… in Other Bands & Artists
Placebo.
Tha show was sold-out, the venue is the best in town, the audience was great. I had fun indeed.
The only problem: they seemed oh! so bored to be there and play for us.
I don’t really care to understand why. I know they’d been touring hard, but in the end it seems to me a complete lack of respect for people buying tickets to give such a show.

My money is on Placebo next but they will release a greatest hits/best of compilation first,or maybe Garbage their last album was a flop.
I totally agree about Placebo. Their concert was bad enough to make me think that playing together is no more fun for them.
Garbage can’t split since they’re not a “rock band”, not a band either… :D

Re: Mtv EMA 2003 in Other Bands & Artists
Quite strange the Sigur Ros thing. Who voted for his video? I mean, is the same people that voted for Mr. Timberlake as best male artist of the year?
Happy to see Kylie on stage, anyway :D

Green Day - Dookie is great. Whack it on at full blast, and i’m smiling from ear to ear and bouncing around. Then … well… slippery slope. Insomnia wasn’t great; not much to say about it. They do at least have quite an original sound, and they’re not afraid to experiment, but I just found “Nimrod” ultimately unforfilling, and everythings bordering on the irritating, i’m afraid.
You’re right, but actually “Warning” is not bad at all…
About Placebo: I got two tickets for Oct 29th… anyone interested into coming to the show? :D

Re: Alice In Chains in Other Bands & Artists
AIC is definitely one of the best bands in the grunge movement. Even if I don’t really like the live album, they’re miles away from being a Cult clone… I think they gave their best in their “lightest” works, like Jar of Flies, where you can really appreciate their technique and musical feeling, even if they’re a little farer from the grunge style they grew up into.
Great band.
