Re: Why oh why oh why not dublin??? in Therapy? Live

Yes yes yes I see your points about cork being a black hole for gigs but surely on their way down to cork they could mip into the TBMC and blast out a few quick riffs! Sure it’s practically on the way!

SCREW IT I’M CLOSING MY BUSINESS AND GOING TO THE BELFAST GIG! DAMN THE MAN! :P

Why oh why oh why not dublin??? in Therapy? Live

Title: Why oh why oh why not dublin???

Why wont you play in Dublin this summer? with the current or upcoming tour? Cork yes belfast yes dublin no…why???
I work 6 days a week and I cant afford to take the time off to travel to either of these irish gigs (You know I would if I could) but I was hoping against hope that I’d see a dublin date added…preferbaly in the Ambassador (love that venue)…

Am I labouring in a false hope or will you have a dublin gig?

DD. :(

Re: Tour Poll - Part 2 in Therapy? Live

Title: yay!

Shit you could play the spoons and I’d still be there “clicking my fingers for satan!”

Cant remember what I voted for but it’ll make little difference coz it’s all good…but I do have to point out thus far…there are a serious lack of dates for Dublin or IRELAND on the tour…you’re gonna come over and let this Therapy? Junkie get a hit before christmas? I mean I could give up if I wanted to, I dont need the stuff, I just want one more hit!!!!

Gimme Gimme Gimme Back My Brain!

AIC were a superb band - one of my favourites. If you listen to Jerry Cantrells album Degradation Trip, however, it’s obvious who the talent in the band was. Layne was a superb frontman but Jerry was and still is an amazing musician. His solo albums are awesome!

Thats all well and good but the Bogey Depot album before the more recent one was far better and I thing the …Trip album is lacking something…possible Layne’s input???

As for the talent in the band the writing and the lyrics were what differentiated AIC from other not to be named so called Grunge bands!

hey! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Title: hey!

Long time listener, first time poster. Well I only recently discovered the website but I’ve been with Therapy? since way back in the day all thanks to a fruitful roommate who “rescued” a stash of CD’s from a house party and brought them home to the free land that is my stereo! I guess I’ve seen them live maybe 40 times and I feel like a year isnt complete without at least seeing Therapy? live 5 times…including the recent gig in Waterford at Shefflins…yeah I was the one playing air-guitar to the Stiff Little Fingers Alternative Ulster! :D

So I was talking to Andy that night and through my drunken haze I recall him mentioning an upcoming Irish tour so ROLL ON THERAPY?!!!!
