Re: Andy walks into the room whats the first thing you in General Therapy? Topics

How Andy, how is life treating you.

That’s a greeting, Squall, not telling him to fuck off cause you’re having a shower, though me being me, I’d invite him in.

Re: Therapy? on Old Schoöl Of Rock DVD in General Therapy? Topics

If there was to be a compliation of 90’s alternative, then T? wouldn’t look out of place. The one mentioned here is an odd one to place our boys.

Re: Whats the craziest thing ouve done as a T? fan in General Therapy? Topics

Other than have two tattoos based on them, just being a T? is mental enough, talking about them to complete strangers and having a drink with them.

Re: When Troublegum was nominated for the Mercury Prize… in General Therapy? Topics

I think the prize money was something like 20 grand, if I remember rightly.

Re: Troublegum wins Guardian award for worst album covers in General Therapy? Topics

The covers for the ShortSharpShock ep were great. Nowhere and Trigger Inside were both great covers, some from the IL era were truly bad and Semi Detached was just weird. They did make up for it with Sucide Pact though.

Re: BBC Sessions - music through a cheap transistor in General Therapy? Topics

I’ve just finished listening to it, and here’s what I think - Pile of Bricks sounds like it was made on the spot and something to please the late John Peel with the chant, but I’m not complaining. CD 1 is the best of the two but well worth the wait none the less.

Re: Therapy? Q&A August 2007 in General Therapy? Topics

If T? started out now, would they last in ten albums time?

Re: BBC Sessions - music through a cheap transistor in General Therapy? Topics

Bloody typical; I ordered mine a week before release and now its Monday, there’s no sign of it on the floor. Walk into HMV and its there.

I’M FULL OF RAGE.

Re: Therapy? Q&A August 2007 in General Therapy? Topics

Has there been at some point you’d wish that you didn’t arse around with the Semi Detached album. Good album, but at the same time, it was a cold period for us fans.

Re: Troublegum wins Guardian award for worst album covers in General Therapy? Topics

Look at the bright side, Limp Bizkit were higher up on the chart. I mean really, that is TRULY a bad cover.

Re: how to ruin a perfectly good therapy? song in General Therapy? Topics

Skyward is a classic track, the cover was okay apart from the vocals - sorry.

Troublegum 2 then - cash in or fan pleasing ? discuss :p

That’ll be fan pleasing rather than cashing in. T? have never made the same album twice.

Speaking of gemil, i finally got round to watching trainspotting today, which for those of you that dont know has Archie Gemil (who Gemil is a drawing of funnily enough) scoring a goal during a scene which cuts between many of the protagonists participating in sexual intercorse.

Really, how intresting (in my Hector from the History Boys voice). But seriously, I went for the standard Gemil.

Re: Guaranteed 4 Songs … in General Therapy? Topics

Knives
Potato Junkie
Long Distance

As for the cover, two choices - either Breaking the Law or Isolation.

Re: BEST Therapy? Album ? in General Therapy? Topics

It was a cross of either NANE or Semi - Detached, and I chose NANE.

Haven’t we had this before…?

Re: T? now officially considered “classic rock”! in General Therapy? Topics

Hmmm, there’s loads of tracks that the dads have got. Then again, T? and Live would make a change for them.

Re: Worst Therapy Album in General Therapy? Topics

Er..mmmm…errr…can’t decide, though Shameless feels like it could be a different band, though its an okay album, but not their best.

The levellers were doing 2 sets, now its been reduced to one

Why? I was looking forward to my double dose of Levellers. Bah humbug. Then again, they’re not as big as the other bands on the main stage, are they?

Re: Does R`N`R have manners??? in General Therapy? Topics

I can’t be arsed with the Bloodhound Gang. I’m only getting a day ticket to see the Levellers. There’s hardly anyone else (New Model Army and Stranglers aside) I want to see.

I mean, the fact they’re above the Buzzcocks disgusts. On above them because of one annoying song, the one mentioning the Discovery Channel.

Re: Does R`N`R have manners??? in General Therapy? Topics

Has to be said, apart from a handful of acts, there’s nothing worth seeing there.

Re: A question for the “more die hard than me” fans in General Therapy? Topics

Sorry, but I thought Shameless was their duff album. HA and NANE were better yet overlooked.
