Re: Master of Puppets in Other Bands & Artists

Kill’em All is the best Metallica album for me ever.
Also Mas.of Pup. and Ride the Light. are great

I could understand if metal fans wouldn’t like bands like the White Stripes or the Strokes, but grunge is really a member of the same musical “family” as metal.

maybe you right but if you listen AIC’s first album called ‘Facelift’, you can see the heavy sound.
I think Soundgarden and Nirvana (in spite of Nirvana’s heaviest album ‘Bleach’) were not have the same heavy volume like AIC.

AIC was a God of grunge but they were completely different from other Seattle bands.
They were fuckin great!
Usually real metal fans don’t like grunge bands except AIC.
For example you can find nice words about AIC from
Slayer members.

Re: Opeth? in Other Bands & Artists

I saw them in RTN-Istanbul concert
The most interesting thing was Band’s vocal Mikael Akerfeldt’s introducing the songs.
Beginning of every song, he introduced the song name ‘and the next song is..’
the point was; when he was introducing the song, his sound was coming from middleage and I felt myself
that he was really a knight
but maybe demon knight?
demon save the swedish metal!
