Re: How old are Therapy? fans???? in General Therapy? Topics

I’m 21 now and I started listening to T? when I was 11… I was watching MTV and my brother was saying that I had to start buying more CD’s. At that point the commercial of Troublegum was on, so I said “ok, I’ll buy that one” and that’s when it all started!

Pukkelpop-Belgium in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Pukkelpop-Belgium

Did anyone else bump into Michael at Pukkelpop last saturday?
I did, but I was that surprised the only thing I said - or better screamed- was OOOOEEEEEEEEE  ! So Michael, if you’re reading this: again, I’m sorry!!! Hope you had a nice time at pukkelpop!

Re: If it kills me x 20! in General Therapy? Topics

Hmmm, I do also tend to scream at a gig, quite loud too as my voice is rather high… But I’m not that girlie to be screaming their names or throwing panties on the stage… Let’s be honest, it’s their minds that are interesting, not their body! So yes, I’m not ashamed to admit it: I scream … I’m a screamer … and I love it, as well as they do, I think!
Most of the time however, there’s not enough air left in my lungs to scream because I’m being squashed by the big guys in front of the stage, having my breath cut off by their huge power to smell ( even “stink hours in the wind”, as they say in Belgium…) or I’m being choked by their long hair going in and out my throat! So I think I deserve to be screaming whenever I get enough air, don’t you? It’s just showing my appreciation, getting this feeling of being stoned everytime I see them performing…
By the way, at every gig I’ve been surrounded by guys, big tough men, screaming like little babies, sometimes even trying to overpower me with their voice… Which has never happened so far, so give it up guys, I’m the one and only Screamwoman!

Re: Where did T? go “wrong”? in General Therapy? Topics

I’d like Therapy to be better known but only for themselves so they’d have more money and so on to make their music without having problems with record deals etc. I just like them the way they are, friendly, funny and enjoying what they do. They are the only band that makes me happy for the rest of the week after I’ve been to a concert! As for the commercial side, my best girlfriend didn’t know anything else than Diane but now, after she has been joining me to their concerts for the last couple of years, she’s crazy about them too, only knowing the songs from the concerts and she’s enjoying every second as much as I do. We even go jump around in the wild (male)crowd while our “tough macho” friends stay on the side… Until we see T? standing somewhere:they push us to go and talk to them so they can follow us, to behave even girlier than us afterwards:rolleyes: Who would have know that I’d still like T? after I bought Troublegum 9 years ago because my brother was nagging me about never buying any CD’s (I was 11 years old!). I remember I saw a commercial for the CD, I liked it instantly and said “Okay, I’ll buy that CD”, regretting it never since…
