Re: What was your first “new” Therapy? album? in General Therapy? Topics
Troublegum, like (I think) most of the oldies amongst us. I then also bought the Die Laughing single with the ‘he he he he’ laughing voice. After all these years (Almost 20!!) it still works!

Re: Andy’s political view on Ireland in General Therapy? Topics
i remember andy saying something similar to what fatboy quotes. there’s one thing we can be shure of: andy’s ideas are sincere, just and plausible for both sides in ulster/northern ireland. if my mind (reaching 50, mind you) doesn’t cheat me, i believe andy has the same ideas about (northern) ireland as slf’s jake burns. correct me if i’m wrong. anyway: therapy? will always be a ‘belfast’ band. i’d be proud of that, living over there.

Re: Rate the Albums (1 - 10) in General Therapy? Topics
ever since i was a school boy i hated ratings, and i still do. zapping through the posts, i see that overall shameless seems to be the less liked album. i like it less than the others as well. crooked timber, never apologize, never explain, high anxiety and troublegum are my favs.

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Interview - What questions do you want to ask the band? in General Therapy? Topics
We were out on holiday when you played at Tivoli, Utrecht. When and where will be the next gigs in Holland? Second question: what has become of the polar bear mask?

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
somnambulist is my favorite song but, magic mountain made me cry a little this afternoon, when i was enjoying the warmth of the spring sun on my precious balcony, reflecting my marathon and petting my cat couscous. Life was just perfect. thank you T?

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
mrs balcony bought in a record store in den haag, 24th march. why bother ordering it through the internet, if it has not arrived 26 march at 17:53, mr self destruct? mind you, i ‘m not criticising you, but sometimes (too often) internetshops are not to be trusted. i’ve had that experience as well, silly me ;)

good, honest tea is made of tea leafs in stead of tea bags. coming from wales, you should know.
i prefer mine made of red grapes from france, italy or spain. they call it wine.

Reading through this thread, I realise that we owe a lot to RenĂ© and Sarah. Cheers to you, my dears! But, don’t you agree that it’s about time that the T? boys start touring again?

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Respect to Fyfe, Graham and Martin, but this is the best T? line up ever. The webgig version of Teethgrinder is awesome: Mr. Neil Cooper, I bow deeply for you! Be asured that I take good care of the drum stick. :D

Re: First Therapy? experience? in General Therapy? Topics
I’m not too sure about the years, but I think it was 1992. T? played at the Pinkpop festival and I watched it on the telly. I was hooked immediately :D

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Webgig in General Therapy? Topics
I wish Long distance was there as well, Punkwak but we can’t have them all.
Using my Hotmail adress I voted for If it kills me, Turn and Sprung from my holiday adress in the southwest of France, somewhere between Toulouse and the Pyrenees (the Cathar country).
We are guarding the house and animals(3 dogs, 7 sheep and 4 chickens) of friends of us who are on holiday as well. But that probably doesn’t interest you at all.
Back home, I will vote again using my regular adress :D But, I never cheat when I play games…

Re: Parently advisory…!? in General Therapy? Topics
The PMRC makes me think of the Dead Kennedys’ song Moral Majority.
Wasn’t the PMRC invented to draw attention away from illegal wars such as in Iraq or am I just being naive?

Re: We need more acoustic therapy! in General Therapy? Topics
Not too often, but every now and then it’s great. I enjoyed what they did in Delft yesterday; just as if they were performing in your living room.
Mrs Balcony suggested to Andy to make an acoustic record, but Andy didn’t like the suggestion very much. (Fortunately :D)

Re: OCFA what do you think? in General Therapy? Topics
I love the heavy sound and the riffs are just brilliant as ever. Neil sometimes makes me think of Fyfe and Andy’s voice is great. He also does some really good backing vocals. Michael’s bass line in Unconsoled simply genious.
Though not their best album, I think it’s a worthy follow-up for NANE. I’m very happy with it, especially when it’s played loud on an oldfashioned stereo set :D
