Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics

somnambulist is my favorite song but, magic mountain made me cry a little this afternoon, when i was enjoying the warmth of the spring sun on my precious balcony, reflecting my marathon and petting my cat couscous. Life was just perfect. thank you T?

Re: NEW GAME I name a song, you name a BETTER song… in Other Bands & Artists

i don’t know Dan’s choice either, misanthropologist but i think enjoy the struggle - therapy? is better.
but that means it is also better than ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn’t have fallen in love with, isn’t it?
what a strange game.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists

it’s late and dark outside. mrs balcony is sleeping. i’m dealing with an infection in/at my right big toe (marathons can cause more than personal records) and i have a bottle of red wine to empty: joy division - heart and soul disc 3

exquisite corpse - bauhaus

Re: NEW GAME I name a song, you name a BETTER song… in Other Bands & Artists

i can live with that, but the song is called:

ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn’t have fallen in love with,

and i cannot think of a better song starting with an h.

ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn’ t have fallen in love with - the buzzcocks

Re: What is your perfect song? in Chit-Chat

if perfect ‘songs’ exist, mine will be:

therapy? - long distance, if it kills me and turn
charlie parker - bird of paradise (best altosaxsolo ever)
syd barrett - dominoes
pink floyd - interstellar overdrive
the cure - a strange day
joy division - love will tear us apart
new order - dreams never end
the sound - sense of purpose
j.s. bach - ciaccona from partita in D minor for violin solo (bwv 1004), violin concerto in a minor (bwv 1041)
talking heads - the great curve
the damned - smash it up part 1 & 2
alice in chains - would

but that’s today. tomorrow i might choose different songs

Re: Training in Chit-Chat

My ideal cicumstances last sunday during the marathon in Rotterdam. I beat my time of last year’s edition with 7 minutes and 20 seconds: 3:40:57. Hopefully I’ll run under 3:35 in Berlin next september. Whoever finishes a marathon is a hero, even your niece beats you in the last metres Ronald!

Re: Therapy live in Utrecht ,may in Therapy? Live

thanks, tsek. i know i’ll enjoy Corfu because i’ve been there before (some ten years ago).

you’re lucky T? play in Utrecht. take time to discover and enjoy the city, it’s bars and restaurants. the venue where T? performs is a friendly place and (as Ronald said) only a ten minutes’ walk from central station.

Re: hello, again in Chit-Chat

:) no evilbeast, lance a is no match for us. he’ll finish before us, but i’m sure he’s no match in drinking red wine and (and) cycling like hell the day after! i know i can.

By the way: great name for a tour: the T? tour the france. Punkwak, a few other cycling WOMbles and I do the promotion on bike and at night the great T? will play a gig.

Re: Laptop advice in Chit-Chat

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics

mrs balcony bought in a record store in den haag, 24th march. why bother ordering it through the internet, if it has not arrived 26 march at 17:53, mr self destruct? mind you, i ‘m not criticising you, but sometimes (too often) internetshops are not to be trusted. i’ve had that experience as well, silly me ;)

Re: hello, again in Chit-Chat

cheers punkwak! maybe we could do a T? cycling tour?

@ teethgrinder: thanks for adding the interviews and reviews and good luck with creating the new T? site. you’ll do a good job, i’m sure.

Re: Therapy live in Utrecht ,may in Therapy? Live

first time in years Therapy? plays in nl and i’m on holiday (cycling at Corfu). that means i’ll have to be patient, because i’m sure there’ll be more gigs in 2009. some things just never change…
enjoy, my friends, and please greet T? from mrs balcony and 3.

Re: hello, again in Chit-Chat

just woke up from my hibernation. it took me some time to catch up, reading all Discussions, but it seems like nothing has changed: same faces, same names, same friendliness. i’ll try to visit the WOM more often, because it’s uplifting and sheer fun to share thoughts and ideas with you.
