Yeah that was me alright! Was in Finland for 5 or 6 days in August… spent one night up by a lake in tampere drinking Koff and shooting the cans with a pellet gun!
Spent the rest of the time in Helsinki - can’t wait to get back, it was the best city I’ve ever vistited… Good beer, good music and nice women!

Great gig and a great night, Had a good laugh out with Jobrok and Ci? (thnx again for the ticket, apparently they were like gold dust!)afterwards… bits of the night are coming back to me as I’m reading the thread… still can’t remember going home though?!
Met Soul Doubt (again), Alan, Kossu, Cuchulain and Jello Biafra at some stage too… fair play to anyone that travelled!

Ahhh, I lost my fucking ticket… I had it and a maiden one, I went home last weekend and my brother had moved everything painted the room and now it’s gone but the maiden one’s still there. Fingers corssed but things aren’t looking good

Small enough but I’ve never been on it, there a couple of smaller one’s on the sides too. I can’t imagine there being anything wrong with it though

Olympia is a decent venue, gets very warm though seen as it’s so small, you can drink while the bands are playing though I think it’s a fiver a pint. Also you can pretty much see the whole stage no matter where you stand coz the floor slopes slightly downwards towards the stage. I’d prefer the olympia to the point anyway :)

Quality gig…thought g n’ r were a bit shit though, also did anyone else think 30 euro was a bit steep for a T? t-shirt??? They were half that on the NANE tour

After all my “planning” I’m not gonna make it :( it’s just gonna cost too much to fly over, buy tix and accomodation, we left it way too late :rolleyes: … on the plus side I am seeing Nick Cave, Foo Fighters and QOTSA (& others) the following week :)

Just checked next week’s TV listings, the special isn’t on just the half hour episode as per usual. It does feature live music from T? though

I might be able to record it on to DVD, its down to a freind of mine, but I’ll defintitely be able to record it onto video… I just don’t know how good the copies will be

I’m not sure yet coz I just realised a while ago that it’s the weekend before Oxegen (Ireland’s biggest music festival) which I’m going to… and also travelling down to Cork midweek to see Nick Cave. Hopefully I’ll manage to fit Werchter in, even if just for a day or two

I got it to work but you can hear T? warming up and you think the presenters are about to stop talking when the gig starts but they decide to play some Thrills music instead… even thought the headline is
“LaganLive (Sat 10-10.30pm) - Radio Ulster’s birthday bash features Therapy.”

I’m from the Republic and I always assumed my BBC was the English one but I was worng. You might be able to get it if you have digital
