Are we talking post-Dress To Kill? Me and Eddie went our separate ways after that. Apologies.
(Are you referring to Ugly Kid Joe btw? Cause if you are, I got that one!)
I don’t know if it is post-Dress To Kill to be honest, but at least you got the very poor Ugly Kid Joe reference :D

Hooch, unless that’s some kinda of hip sarcasm that I just don’t understand (bad reference to some band from ages ago), then you are letting Eddie down…
And if you’re still not sure, maybe you need a trip into space.

Re: BBC Sessions - music through a cheap transistor in General Therapy? Topics
I know how to download, but would prefer not to… if a physical copy comes out in the same timeframe as the download then I’ll go for that — but if there’s a chance of a physical copy a few months after the download, would it be reasonable to offer people who’ve already paid for the download a cost-price option to “upgrade” to the physical media?

Anyone know who are (and how to contact) the decision makers for Reading Festival? Would love to see T? in the Radio One tent…

Re: Rugby in Chit-Chat
I agree with the thought that Wallace is certainly enough to get O’Gara worried. Don’t get me wrong, O’Gara has talent, bags of it. But he’s about as consistent in utilising that talent (in internationals) as the whole French team are theirs. Wallace has yet to play the number of internationals needed for us to work out if he’s consistent or not — but as I said, O’Gara will be worried. For Ireland as a whole though, it’s got to be good to have someone like Wallace knocking on the door.
Now someone has to sort out the poor England no. 10 situation… :(

I am amazed that no one mentioned Body Bag Girl and Mr Glitter.
Obviously this is in response to the subject of the original thread, not the changed version of it ;)

‘Nuff said! And what a great game, especially the first half. Unlucky on the try that was ruled out by the TV ref (entirely correctly) but what a bit of play that led up to it. 20 phases or so — brilliant recycling of the ball. The try right before half time was an absolute beauty, and about the only time O’Gara’s miss-move actually fooled someone!

Re: Swindon - Friday 22nd April in Therapy? Live
Following the conversaton in another thread about a recording of this gig — and looking back over the set list — I remember what a great gig it was. I don’t have the recording myself, but being reminded of the set list brings back the memories — Gimme Back My Brain and He’s Not That Kind Of Girl, along with Rise Up, Rust and If It Kills Me — it is a set full of top tunes…

Re: 60 Watt Bulb ? in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
I haven’t listened to that song in AGES. Thanks for the reminder — I’ll dig it out and give it a go. Time to MP3 it I guess; it’s the way of the world now. From what I remember tho, it doesn’t compare to Suing God. Guess that’s why 60WB didn’t appear on the web-gig list? Then again, neither did M,YCCTAN.

Separate Lives and Magic are on Tesco DVD Rental by mail ;) As they are run by that Lovefilm.com place, chances are if you have DVD rental by mail you will be able to get them too.
I haven’t seen Electra Glide in Blue on there though…
Actually, I lie — it is on Tesco, but it’s a “future release” with a release date “tbc”. Given the other films that have been on there long enough with the same status, who knows how long that means…

Slightly off-topic, but I *love* Brogans. It was one of my locals when I lived in Dublin and it’s a great place when it’s quiet and dark, and it’s also a great place when there’s GAA on the TV. Top place. In fact, welcomed in 2006 in that pub.
Sorry, just had to say that. Got Dublin-sickness.

I also have watched all four episodes of series 3 and it’s getting quite interesting…

Was listening to Infernal Love in the car today, for the first time in ages. I was reminded just what an epic work of music it truly is. Looking back on the list of songs, it’s a shame Epilepsy, Bad Mother and Me Vs You aren’t on there. Truly powerful songs, full of creative, erm… juices. I wonder why they were overlooked. (apart from the obvious Bad Mother/cello link)

Agree the opening post is rubbish. I am still a fan, a very big fan. And I am incredibly disappointed by OCFA. I am however glad that other people do like it, of course. But it doesn’t rattle my bones.

I’m surprised it wasn’t on the list originally — if any of the guys spend any time on here I’m sure they’d have realised how many times Suing God has been brought up as being a very popular song (esp for a B-side).
