Re: Yankee Yammering in General Therapy? Topics

There is no reason to be mad at the guys in the band over things not getting released in the US, it really has nothing to do with them. If they can’t get a deal here they are happy with, their stuff doesn’t come out here, plain and simple. I wonder how Gearhead Records would be for Therapy? I don’t think they fit the normal band on that lable, but I think they are a good one that actually cares about music and their artists.

I like a lot of Birtish bands, and have gotten used to paying lots for their cd’s, it’s just part of it. I waited months to buy Infernal Love, finally got it for $25, and it came out in the States a few weeks later, I was not too happy. But thats just the way it goes, I mean if you like the band, fork out the money and get the import, or don’t get the music. Try eBay, you don’t always have to have a credit card to buy from people there. See if your local record store can get it in for you, something. As far as the Scopophobia dvd, I know thets available on eBay, just make sure you can change you region on your dvd player, or you will be very unhappy!

I really want to see T? live in the States again too, but if theres no album out here to promote, whats the point. I am juts glad to have gotten to see them the last time they were on tour here.

Re: Honest, meeting the band stories! in General Therapy? Topics

Title: Meeting the band.

The first time I met Andy was just outside of The Astoria on the Suicide Pact tour, he was a really nice guy, got a pic, shook hands. Then about 18 mos later I ran into him at the gig in Philadelphia, and he actually remembered meeting me. I told him I met him before the Astiria gig, and he said”Yeah, right outside the venue, your friend took a picture”, I couldn’t belive that! I met Michael that night too, he even offered me a free t-shirt, and I fucking turned it down! Not really sure why, he said it was the last one, and I just sait” No man, thats alright, but thanks”. What a bunch of cool guys.

Re: US tour in 2005. in Therapy? Live

I personally am as excited as I can be about the possiblilty of T? touring the US with The Wildhearts. I know it had no bearing on the possible decision, but I had a nice chat with Ginger when they came to DC with The Darkness and told him I really wish I could make it over to the UK to see the 2 of them tour together, and also said it would be cool to see them together here. I guess only time will tell.
