Also Whipping Boy’s Heartworm album is still my favourite album of all time…anyone know where i can get hold of another copy as mine is burnt out…

Fantastic album. There’s one on Ebay at the moment, apparently never played, and a quite a few in varying conditions at http://www.netsoundsmusic.com.

Would have loved to see T? and Kerbdog on the same bill. Rico by far and away, the best support I’ve seen with Therapy? though.

Although, I quite liked Amplifier as well…

* Placebo - Where Is My Mind

I’ve not heard it, but surely that can’t improve on the original?

Anyway, I reckon all these are worth a listen:

Guns N Roses - Ain’t It Fun (orig. Rocket From The Tombs)
Senseless Things - Answering Machine (The Replacements)
Johnny Cash - Hurt (Nine Inch Nails)
Redd Kross - Yesterday Once More (The Carpenters)
Seaweed - Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac)
Joyrider - Rush Hour (Jane Wiedlin)
Metallica - Tuesday’s Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
Jimmy Eat World - Firestarter (Prodigy)

And I heartily recommend buying both Guns N Roses’ Spaghetti Incident and Metallica’s Garage Inc - 2 excellent covers albums.

Re: Scopophobia Regional Coding in General Therapy? Topics

My copy of Scopophobia says it’s Region 0 (i.e. not coded to any particular region). Which should mean it will play on any player (standalone or PC) in any region. However, the video signal is encoded in PAL (the standard used in Europe) and not NTSC (the standard used in North America). PC’s shouldn’t have a problem with this, but if you’re playing it on a standalone DVD player, your TV will need to be able to display PAL signals. The manual for your TV may (or may not) tell you whether it can do this. Although, the best way to determine this, is to stick the DVD in the player, press play and see what happens… :)

Re: Thank You Santa in General Therapy? Topics

The thing that annoys me about Scopophobia is that there’s no option to play all the videos consecutively…you’ve either got to go through the menu for each vid individually, or hit skip to forward to the next title each time you get to the (excessively long) A&M copyright bit.

Luckily Santa got me a DVD-burner for Christmas, so I now have 37 minutes of uninterupted, remote control free T? videos to watch :D

However, I can’t kill the A&M bit at the end of Nausea cos’ the bassline is still fading out at the end when the blasted thing pops up!

Re: 8th December @ The Monarch anyone? :D in Therapy? Live

I only have two words to say about the Barfly gig…

Fuck & me.

They were amazing. (Okay, that’s five words…)
