Re: More German shows in 2006 in Therapy? Live
I’m pretty sure they played “into the light”, but as I had to ask for the setlist in the first place, my recollection probably can’t be trusted

Re: Therapy? Bloopers…!! in General Therapy? Topics
this seems to be a long-running discussion I’ve missed most of (thankfully), but for what it’s worth…
for reasons too boring to go into, I’ve mostly been listening to music ripped to mp3 on my computer recently - including the precious OCFA review copy. then it suddenly occurred to me to listen to the actual cd. on my actual stereo, like.
the difference was enormous, and that’s although I ripped the mp3s myself, at the highest possible quality.
there are loads of mad drums on there. mr cooper is well and truly bonkers. in the best possible way, of course :D

Re: OCFA reviews in General Therapy? Topics
I’m one of the lucky sods with a review copy of one cure fits all. I wasn’t particularly impressed at first listen, but I think that’s a t? thing - you (or I, at any rate) just don’t get them first time round. meanwhile I’ve listened a few more times, and frankly it’s fuckin ace. pretty dark, atmospheric, heavy. and those songs are going to be excellent live.

see, I don’t even know you, yet I voted for you to stay in and take care of yourself. sheer kindness.
and yet, and yet… why do I have the feeling my advice is going to be ignored?

at least those four will be home for christmas…

that would require a decent section of the population actually getting up off their lazy, ready meal-fed arses
what, like the 750 thousand that marched in london last february? that made a load of difference, didn’t it?

bl**dy hell! I just remembered that I am a registered visions user (though I never go there), so I thought, hey, why not… I had it registered to an old email address though, so I thought I’d better update my profile.
at least they didn’t ask about my sexual preferences. they seem to want to know pretty much everything else before they’ll let you submit the form.

Re: NANE - Best T? album by a mile! in General Therapy? Topics
definitely an amazing album. true to t? style, it didn’t really do much for me on first listen, but after the second or third time I started absolutely loving it. it hasn’t been out of my stereo since.
fave song at the mo is this ship is sinking - the sounds on that! but the other songs are all not far behind.
nice one.

you could fly… try http://www.airberlin.com
there’s probably other options that would be cheaper (and easier) than driving too.

Have happened already must I, however, say that the choice limits were with regard to albums. No Razorlight, no Killers, no The Bees, no Twilight Singers, no Young Heart Attack the new Ikara colt, The Thrills and Hope or The States I have heard, however, not yet frequently enough vote.
Here my choice is
You give 1 point to: Muzzle-hot one discharges -
you give 2 points to charge Summer to: The Killers - Somebody spun me
you gives 3 points to: Therapy? - Rise Up
You give 1 point to: The Libertines - The Libertines
you give 2 points to: Keane - Hopes And Fears
you give 3 points to: The Pixies - Wave or Mutilation
I’m particularly impressed with “muzzle - hot one discharges”. ooo-er.
I put a 3 next to Therapy? anyway. next!

considering that those stickers generally make people want to buy the record more, surely it can only be good if Never Apologise gets one? ;)

it’s not my favourite song, although sometimes I think it could be.

there was an excerpt from it on the guardian website, I read that. I thought it was utterly pointless adolescent oooh-look-ma-I’m-so-shocking nonsense.
I’ve also read Invisible Monsters, which I thought was a load of rubbish, though admittedly uttered at high speed.
everyone else seems to love palahniuk though, so it must be me…

actually, the idea of all those <beep>s is making me feel quite queasy too. might be a novel way of getting attention for the band…

peter rüchel, a man like cornflakes left soaking in milk for a week. also possibly the only tv music presenter who manages to give the impression that he doesn’t actually like music.

all those people slating shameless are just scared that the rabbits on the cover might awaken the fluffy pink bunnies they keep hidden away in the dark depths of their evil rock’n’roll muthafucka souls.

Re: Green Day - American Idiot in Other Bands & Artists
the video for american idiot is on the official green day website - http://www.greenday.com.
it’s an annoying all-flash-loads-for-days type effort, but if you have broadband and a bit of patience, you can watch all sorts of green goo flooding around them while listening to the song.
it cuts out all the time the first time you play it, because its streaming video, but the second time round you can enjoy it.
no really, go on. the song is good once you get there.

have finally got round to listening to american idiot, and yeah, it’s good, I’ll definitely be buying the album.
it is very much “the standard green day song” though.
